Hi all,
Newbie here. I had some labs done back in mid may by my gyn during my annual check. She ran a perimenopause panel (I am 38) because just this year I have developed bad pms. No physical symptoms just mental ones like moodiness, irritability, general all around bitchiness about 10 days before my period. Also I have trouble sleeping during that time as well.

She said everything is normal. No signs of hormonal imbalance, must just be pms. Here are my results. They were done in the luteal phase

Estradiol 147.7 (range 43.8-211.0)
LH 3.6 (range 1-11.4)
FSH 4.8 (range 1.7-7.7)
prolactin 8.2 (range 4.8-23.3)

however, there was not a test for progesterone.

For 3 months I used fenugreek, bustea and twice daily massage (1x with FSO, and 1x with the almond oil, geranium and ylang, ylang mix) as well as, chest exercises. Went from having room in my 34bs to filling the cup much better (A cups were too small. I always hung over but b's had a little room. Victoria's secret says I should wear a 32c and I do fit them but I know they run different)

Tried pm but only lasted 9 days. I kept getting backaches that were getting progessively worse. As soon as I stopped pm, the backaches stopped. I did break out after stopping pm. Not cystic acne just regular pimples. I also felt like my breasts seemed smaller after starting pm. With the other herbs I didn't loose much of my luteal swelling with pm I felt like I did.

All opinions welcome and will give any information needed. Right now I went back to fenugreek and bustea and am slowly adding wild yam. Any program ideas are welcomed.

Current measurements:
overbust 30-3/4"
at nipples 33"
underbust 28
You need to test for progesterone. It doesn't matter if what your Estradoil is. You can still be deficient or dominant.
Tibetan,

Do you think I can just test progesterone or do you think I need to redo them all? Is there anything else that might be beneficial?
Thanks for your input.
