I used it last night for the first time but I have a concern about the sportbox...When it runs it makes VERY loud noise. Like it is so loud that it wakes me up when it turns on and it makes me feel like i'm going to jump. Nobody has ever talked about it being that loud so I was just wondering possibly if mine was defective? Also it did not turn on enough. Which didn't give me enough suction. I wore it for 11 hours and it only came on about 3 times and only for about 1 minute each time. When I woke up after the 11 hours I had a tiny bit of swelling (not noticeable) and it went down after about 30 minutes. Does anyone have any tricks to get more suction/swelling?

Thank you
I've been using mine for less than a week and mine wakes me up about 4 or 5 times a night! It IS really loud! I'm surprosed there are not more comments about that.

I keep suction all night long though and I don't even use the mesh sports bra that comes with it because it was causing the domes to be too pushed up against my chest, making it too uncomfortable. I have had great swelling each day (from day 1) and have never lost suction during the night. (but I have rigged mine a little) I removed all the sticky residue using coconut oil and found it much more comfortable without the sticky stuff. I also suck the air out to get MAX suction right before I go to bed, but each night I wake up 4+ times to the jarring sound of the sportsbox going on. I think it's because my breasts are swelling and taking up more space in the dome causing the air pressure to drop and switching the sportsbox on. I'm sorry you're having such bad luck with the suction... Sad
Valerie, am I understanding you correctly that you have used oil to remove all tackiness on the rims? This is completely the opposite of what Brava says to do! Amazing that you are still getting good suction. I wish I could try that, because the tackiness is so uncomfortable and hard to maintain! But I fear I will ruin my domes permanently if it doesn't work for me. Do you think you could restore the tackiness if you washed off the oil?

As for suction, I've been using Brava only for 2 weeks, but the first week I got amazing suction and swelling —so much that I got bruises and skin irritations. I stuck with it and the irritation has improved, but now I'm getting less swelling. Before my girls were like large C cups in the morning, now they are like B cups. I called Brava and went over everything I'm doing which is apparently correct, so she said it's just a case of my breasts getting used to the suction and not swelling as much. She said as long as I'm getting any visible swelling, that means it's working. I guess only time will tell.

If the sportsbox turns on in the night and wakes you up, what you meant happens 4+times in the night, then you are loosing suction, otherwise it wouldn't turn on. When your breasts swell it increases the pressure inside of the domes and makes the seal better, it doesn't make the pressure drop (?!), the sportsbox turns on, when the pressure falls below the certain value (I forgot what it was) and that happens when air gets inside of the domes. If the sportsbox turns on, you don't have the perfect seal and air is getting inside.

That's really good that you've been getting results. I haven't gotten any with mine so far because I keep losing suction so i'm not getting swelling Sad I think there might be a hole in my tubing or in the domes...I have no idea what to do, I can't afford another one Sad
Call Brava customer support and they will help identify the problem. They have been very helpful when I called with questions!

Yeah, I still get good suction without any tackiness. And with the coconut oil it really has completely removed all the sticky stuff, noo way to get it back. I couldn't deal with the stickiness, it was really irritating to my skin and I started to beak-out a little after the second night. But with the oil as a lubricant I find that my breast easily fills up the dome with no tugging or pulling and I find it much more comfortable. Not sure if it would work for everyone but it seems to be working for me. I wake up every morning with great swelling.

As for the sportbox turning on 4+ times a night that doesn't happen as much anymore. Last night it was only twice and the night before it only tuned on 3 times. But I really don't feel like it's because of a huge loss of suction. Each morning my breasts are swollen and stay that way for 2-3 hours. It's been less than 2 weeks so I hope it will only get better from here.
I think the reason why i'm losing suction is because the domes are too wide for my chest. I put them close together in the middle but they stick out on the sides and pull in the skin from under my arm. It hurts a lot and really pinches and when I lay flat I think it makes like a space for air to go through because they're sticking out on the side. If this is not the reason then I'm really confused what the problem is.

That sounds like it may be it. I have narrow domes for my small frame, if they were any bigger I think I would have the same problem. Sorry hun!
