Hi

I wonder if it's possible to have success with NBE whist taking cod liver oil? I notice a lot of people mention taking fish oil as part of their programs. I've been suffering from quite severe acne for the past 2 years and have tried everything to cure it. A few months ago I read about someone succeeding in curing their acne by taking a combined fermented cod liver oil and vitamin rich butter fat supplement. http://www.funkyraw.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=33&products_id=379
I thought it sounded compelling so I started doing my own research on the product. The more I read about it, the more promising it sounded as I was only able to find good reviews from people in regard to its acne healing properties. I went ahead and bought a jar, but never started taking it because I'd just begun NBE and I didn't want to interfere with that and my chances of getting results. I was worried because I'd previously read a couple of things about cod liver oil being bad for NBE. Anyway, a couple of months have past now, and I still haven't started taking this cod liver oil. My acne is becoming very bad and is difficult to manage. I'm desperate to cure it and wonder if I'm denying myself a possibility of that in not giving the cod liver oil a try. However, at the same time, I really don't want to reduce my chances of achieving success with NBE. Might anyone be able to give me some advice? Have any of the members on here who have experienced growth taken cod liver oil/fish oil supplements? I believe the reason the above brand (see link) is meant to be good is because it is combined with the vitamin rich butter fat which is said to aid the absorption of the cod liver oil. I wonder if perhaps this vitamin rich butter fat might also aid the absorption of other things, such as orally taken herbs or PM, and therefore help NBE?

Thank you!
I am not sure for breast growth but I have read from many beauty experts that it's a must-have for your beauty routine. I haven't tried it yet but I will. You're supposed to get the Alaskan kind I think and drink it. There's a lemon-scented that masks the smell. It will be in the fridge sections at health food stores. It supposedly does WONDERS for your skin and if I recall, your hair too.

Thank you very much for your advice! It's been the thing I've had on reserve as a last resort treatment for my acne. It does sound like it has some great benefits. However, I think I read some posts on here once about it altering testosterone levels in a way that has an adverse affect on NBE. I don't know if that's actually true. Some people say they take fish oil in their routine, I wonder why that is?
No particular difference I would imagine unless you're dreadfully low on your omega 3's.

That said. Omega 3's are HUGELY important, so if you're not getting them, then yes, I'd suggest cod liver oil as one of the best ways.

I wouldn't really recommend the product you've linked though... That'll be exhorbitantly expensive and won't provide sufficient amounts really.

This is better...

But honestly, the only reason to go with the "raw" fermented stuff is for Vitamin A & D, if your diet has plenty of those, then this should be fine and much much easier on your wallet:

Hi Abi, thanks for coming through for me again! Smile I've heard good things about the sourcing of Carlson products.
So you reckon it will have no negative effect on NBE? I'm taking fenugreek, saw palmetto and PM for my program, as mentioned before. That is really my only concern and the reason I've been putting up with this acne without attempting to treat it with some kind of cod liver oil.

Definitely not any negative. And could be positive.

Hi Maple, I'm not sure how severe your acne is but I send all my clients to
face reality acne clinic, they do a long distance relationship. You send them pictures of your skin and they work with you to get you clear. I know they use differen't product likes Mandelic serum and Benzol peroxide. I have seen great clearing with them. I don't think this solves your internal problems which sounds like a leaky gut but you can check them out.
Have you tried the Regimen from acne.org? http://www.acne.org/regimen.html
It has worked for me and is very cheap if you buy the products in the drugstore.

This has reinstated the optimism in me, thank you! Smile Fingers crossed for some success (at last!). I don't know what those old posts could have been about re cod liver oil adversely affecting NBE. It's meant to balance hormones, and so I wonder if some might be concerned that it could reduce estrogen levels.
Your acne help tip-offs, tinytots and missviolet, are much appreciated! They sound promising. I'll do some research!
