Some years ago I suffered from chronic edema in my lower legs and feet. When I finally got it under control some seven years ago, it left extensive brown stains under my (now rather thin and sensitive) skin, which have faded only slightly over that time. Would anyone know of any gentle way of bleaching them out? I'm rather afraid that they are probably as permanent as a tattoo and just as difficult to get rid of.
