If Biobreeze would work the same way Icy Hot does? I was thinking of trying it. Also, and I'll research this myself too, but if someone could tell me how/why Icy Hot causes swelling, I'd appreciate it. Sorry if that's a stupid question, I'm just wondering where the idea came from.

Do you mean Biofreeze? If so, then no it doesn't work the same way because it doesn't contain any methyl salicylate.
