Does anybody on here find that their partners are less than supportive of their NBE? I told my partner when I first started in January and he was fine with me doing massage and my reasons for doing it (wanting to fit clothes better, look more in proportion etc). I didn't tell him about the hypnosis because I honestly felt silly doing it. There hasn't been much progress from either of these things - maybe 1-2cm growth in just over 3 months. Anyway, I mentioned the noogleberry and he was deadset against it. Said I didn't need it, wasn't proven to be successful, could be dangerous etc. I was so upset because I'd done the research and was ready to purchase one. Based on my research of the results of noogleberry after pumping, I made my own pump out of cardboard tubing and bits of medical devices I had hanging around (some tubing out of my cliniflow and the 2 halves of my asthma inhaler spacer as domes) and plugged the whole thing into the vaccum cleaner. It seems to be having the same result but it's bloody ridiculous - makes a racket, hard to do things with the domes on etc. I'm managing to pump an hour in the morning when he's at work. I figure I'll keep it up for a month or so and see if it works. It would be just so much easier if he was fine with me having it then I could pump in the afternoons and nights. I might still get a noogleberry and hide it. Anyone else have this problem? I tried talking with him and asked him why he even cared about it - only cost $50 and I wouldn't care if he wanted to buy some product to improve himself. It just makes me so mad because I don't ask for much and just want to erase two of the most obvious signs of my scoliosis and heart disease... Sorry for the vent folks.
Well I just won a used noogleberry on ebay (was totally expecting to get outbid) so here goes nothing... I plan to use it early in the morning before he wakes up. I'm sure if it works he'll get over it. Reminds me a little of the tale of the red hen...
My boyfriend laughed when i told him about NB, until i showed him a good few progress pictures. Now that im seeing results he doesnt want me to stop using it lol. Ypu really need to show him 'the science' behind it and why it works (NB forum has a great topic on that somewhere), and possibly a really good progress page. My partner knows everything i do, but i admit i was terrified of telling him. But even if he wasnt happy with it, i love him but its my body and il do what i like! He isnt as enthusiastic about PM but he knows its useless complaining now. I didnt start getting any results until i could use it whenever i felt like it tbh, i dont have much time in the mornings. (i live with my family though, my sister i share a room with also knows, but no one else)
Thanks barelyb - I feel much the same way. I think I can pretty much keep it a secret especially because it's winter and I am covered up more. I'm sure he'll come around when it starts working. My initial concern was that I would bruise too easily being on warfarin but my ridiculous vacuum cleaner model disproved that Smile
Better being honest I say. Glad you won the NB! It's a sign that you should be suiting you. And it is unfair of him to impose restrictions like that. I wonder how he would feel with a 1inch weewillywinky that he wanted to enlarge using a pump- maybe not seem so silly then?

The point is we tell the truth out of respect for someone and if the activity is not dangerous then I can't see the issue. He needs to see proof. My BF is supportive of everything I do as he knows I give it all thought and research well and after all I have supported him through his life challenges and to be frank if he didn't I'd be off.

Let us know how you get on.
My partner was OK with it at the beginning.. and then had an "intervention" with me a few nights ago.

Basically said that he wanted me back to the way I was before I started the NBE journey, happy, confident, not caring about my boob size (well on the outside). He said I don't have to be taking supplements or doing massages because I'm perfect how I am. Rolleyes

I'm not going to stop, but I did take a step back and realize I was getting a little obsessive and letting it take over my life. I decided to do only 5 min of massage in the shower, 15 min outside of shower, and a bit here and there in the bathroom. If it works, it works, if not I'll have really nice hair and skin. Tongue
I think doing what makes you happiest and doesn't hurt others is okay. My BF said he likes my boobs small, but the minute they swelled with the NB he liked them more. Hmmmn figure that one out! It sort of upset me and made me realise he was just being polite all these years!
I did tell him about the NB a few weeks ago and he said he thought it was dangerous and I didn't need it - we just have a difference of opinion on that.
I am supportive of what he wants and I'm sure he'll come around I just have to pick my moment.
I think it's true that you can become too obsessed with it and I am trying to focus on other things in my life more.
So I just have massage 1-2 times a day, my hypnosis and then I plan to noogle while I work at home at the computer - so it really doesn't have to affect him at all.
My boyfriend is fine with it. I told him right away and make jokes about it. He know me and knows that I do my research very well before doing anything. I have had PCOS and I really wanted to try something with estrogen like properties for years! I felt that it was so unfair because everyone else in my family is a full c/d or bigger but not me..
I am not sure how your partner is but I every man is different, obviously he loves you the way you are and cares more about your health not the size
i don't think it's that he's against it, rather he doesn't want you to be disappointed if it doesn't work. my husband is convinced that some companies prey on womens insecurities, over charging for their products or selling low quality crap. most supportive partners think we're perfect just the way we are, this is a good thing, don't hold it against him Wink

i have to say, honesty is always best. i have a deal with my husband, i can take any pills as long as they're proven to be safe but i won't spend lots of money on gadgets. most of my supplements are good for more than just boobs, so he's fine with them. he's used to me buying expensive creams for my face, so one for my boobs wasn't a big deal. i also don't take my nbe too serious, it doesn't have any effect on my daily life.

i hope youre not only successful with your nbe, but that you and your partner can come to an agreement or understanding about your nbe Smile
