Hi all !!!
Just wanted to find out what is safer for increasing progestrone - PC or vitex/(or any other herb)??? anyone has any thoughts on this!!
I am just so scared to use anything not natural.... hence my worry about PC cos even though it is derived from plant extracts, it is converted into progestrone in a lab which makes it kind of artificial
.....however lot of ladies around here have used it which is comforting
....

Have you looked at Ginie's program thread at all? She used PC and shared a wealth of information with us : ).
Wish I could offer you more info on PC and Vitex but I have no experience with either one (I use FG and FN teas instead.)
Hopefully someone else will chime in to shine some light on the matter.

Herbs are safer. Where I am in the UK you can only get progesterone cream on prescription, for safety reasons.

somehow i feel that herbs are safer too...i cant get a doctor to prescribe PC for me here.....infact probably the only PC i can get my hands on will be from biovea which is not USP.....or i might find something else too if i search some more maybe on amazon.....idk cos i am still considering whether to go for it.....
why.not - hi! ya i have gone thru ginie's program..she used kokoro...in fact lot of ladies have PC in their program but idk if it will cause any fertility issues later and stuff like that you know.....cos they say it takes a lot of time for PC to leave your body......and instructions on PC says not to use it when pregnant.....so if you use PC then do we have to wait a long period of time if planning for pregnancy??
not that i am planning anything like that but just got me wondering you know
FG and FN....thats a good plan...i would like to do it too....but i have very low progestrone and i need to find a way to fix it......and idk if FN would be enough.....
i finally found biovea which delivers in my country...so i can go ahead with PC or any herb....hence i am definitely freezing on something tomorrow.....although i am leaning more towards vitex.....
the only fact holding me back is the growth that a lot of ladies got from PC....which is tempting
..... but i just dont want to risk my health right now and long term for anything.....
infact i wanted to keep it as natural as possible and wasnt even taking herbs in pill form and extracts and all.....the only stuff that i have taken was flax seeds and turmeric.....

Well the gentle and safe route is probably the best idea then : ))
You could try FN or Vitex and see how it affects you before going to any extremes or using something you aren't fully comfortable with. NBE is all about trial and error, right?!
My body reacts quickly to whatever I ingest so I know if it's having an effect or not. For example, I upped my dosage of FN and FG powder from 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp for the last two days and found myself very on edge emotionally speaking so I'm going to lower it again today and see how things progress.
