I just bought a full coverage bra in 34B (Warner's) but I find it keeps riding up in the front and I have to keep readjusting it. I recently lost weight and was wearing an incorrect size before that too (too big).

above breast: 33
underbust: 30
overbust: 34 (35 with a bra on)
I know if you go by the add 4 way, that would make me like a no cup size but I do have some meat there. My left side is bigger than my right, probably by a full cup. I can fill out the 34B on the left side.

Should I bother to try a 32B.. if I try a 32C then I would have to order it special off the internet. We have really limited selection of sizes and quality here.

Do you think the difference between 30 underbust and 34 overbust is flat chested?

If you fill out a 34B with one breast and get close with the other then that's the right size cup for that band, but if your bra doesn't stay, it's the wrong band...

The rule then is if you go down a band size, you go up a cup size... Can you get a 30D?

Honestly, that's what I'm betting you are. I'm telling you now that 32B will be too small of a cup if you're filling a 34B at all. It MIGHT be the right band size... but with your above the bust being what it is in combination with your underbust being what it is... Your rib shape sounds a lot like mine.

Therefore I think a 32 band will still move around a little, but a 30 band will be perfect if using the outermost hook. 32 you'd probably need to use the innermost. If you aren't a fan of a super snug bra fitting, then probably go with a 32C and wear it on the tightest hook. It might slip a little with serious activity, but it should be a decent fit.

This is just from my own experience though... And I'll be the first to admit my experience is a bit unusual. MOST girls seem to do best with add 2, which makes you a 32 band, so a 32 C.
thanks! It's so confusing. I just re-measured and using the 85b.org calculator, when I used my underbust and overbust, it tells me I'm a 34A. But then if I add in my above bust (which I just remeasured and is 31 if I'm putting the tape in the right spot), then it tells me I'm a 34D, which I can tell you I am not... I'd be in high heaven. lol One thing I do know is you need to go by the side that fits the cup if you have uneveness, so I'm sure that's a lot of my problem.
I may just have to order one from the internet at 32C and give it a go and send it back if it doesn't fit.
85b doesn't use a good system. try soma.com bra fitter. its always spot on! Oh and btw if you measure 30" you add 2" not the 4" so that makes you a 32B. A bra that rides up means the band size is too big, try switching to a smaller band size and see if you have better success.

Uh. Emily. She's been filling the cups in a 34b. So it seems more likely she'd be a 32c, not still a b.

That soma site is also using the add 4 method...

Summer if I read your post correctly, the bra rides up, and you can only fill out one cup on the left side. So I don't think you should go up a cup size, just go down a band size. If you do this and it doesn't fit properly then I'd go up a cup size.
The Soma calculator said 34A.. I haven't been able to find a 32 yet but when I do, I'll check back and tell you how it fit.

Right, she should go down in band size but keep the size of the cup, which, as Abidrew was saying, means that she would need to get the C if she got the 32 band. 32C cup = 34B cup. They're called sister bra sizes (see: http://www.herroom.com/bra-fitting-advice,328,30.html). 32B cup DOES NOT = 34B cup. Abidrew wasn't telling her to increase the size of her cup. She was just telling her to maintain the size of the cup which just goes up a letter when you go down in band size. Hence, why Abi said 32C.
A family member bought a 32C from VS. I asked if I could try it on to see if that size would fit. The band was great. I am definintely a 32 at least in VS. The cup I filled out completely and I was excited I had a little plumpness at the top showing. Said family member said I looked ridiculous b/c it was a push up bra and I was supposed to have tons of cleavage. I said it fit me right b/c the band got all of my boob fat on the side of my ribcage. If it was a smaller cup size, it would cut across the tissue and that would hurt. Also, it's not like I had big gaps in it. AND it's not like I'm putting it on to stand on a VS stage. Whatever I choose is for my own enjoyment or to look cute for the hubs. Anyway, she put it on and had HUGE amounts of cleavage showing. I told her she must've been a size D or DD and was squeezing into that bra. She insisted she fit it correctly. I just looked up the bra, it's a demi, not a push up like she said. It looks very closely to this one . And see the model isn't showing huge amounts of boob either. Family member said it fit me more like a 'full coverage' but she doesn't know what's she's talking about since she thinks practically all of her boob should be hanging out. Anyway, I'm probably a SMALL C but the 32C did fit and was comfortable. If I ever go to the store, I'll try a B too to make sure, or other C's. I was surprised I filled a demi style. It is lined but doesn't have the thick padding toward the bottom like so many of my other bras. I wonder what style would look best on me.
