I understand why we should limit caffeine intake when doing herbs but why no carbonation?

Carbonation is bad for you at any time, it actually depletes calcium from your bones. Not so much of a health risk when your young, but as we age, ( 40 and over) our bones start to deterioate any way. Of course everyone has heretity factors that would also have something to do with this too. As far as NBE is concerned, I don't know.

Carbonation makes the absorption of nutrients less effective in the digestive system so whatever herbs you are taking for NBE won't be as effective if you drink lots of soda or carbonated mineral water.

Thank you to both of you, I just hate it when I don't understand things, LOL.
