Liz - I've been taking 1600mg of vitex a day, just like karen did. Am coming to the end of the third pot. I tried the first few months using it with WU, but felt the WU was causing the vitex not to work properly as WU was adding too many phytoestrogens to my body, making hard work for the vitex to balance it all out.
I experimented and cut down to 2 WU pills a day, but after a number of weeks, felt this was still too much WU. So I quit using WU on Friday last week and am growing forwards again and have tingles all the time. I've ordered a supply of marine collagen capsules and also marine collagen cream and will be adding this to my programme as soon as it arrives. Have a good feeling about this new plan :-)
Listen to what your body is telling you Liz. Also remember that vitex is a slow acting herbs and will take a while to build in your system, so don't expect to see results for at least 4 weeks. If after 8 weeks pass and you find you aren't growing, I'd suggest cutting down WU or cutting it out altogether and see how things go.

Yes Liz, I am growing with just vitex.
Karen Johnstone, the girl here who introduced us to vitex grew from an A to a C cup in 5 months by just taking vitex by itself.

Hi feary-Just a question, i have been on a break since just b4 xmas, and plan on restarting program on feb 1st-till then im getting the collagen into my systum.
Iv been undesisve for a while about WU-in your opinion would u give vitex a wirl on its own for a month or so and the gradually add my WU or go back on WU and add vitex a month or so in.I dont want to hinder growth by taking too many products,but there are alot of promising coments regarding vitex.

Ok, in my humble opinion and talking from recent experience, I'd say ditch the WU and just do vitex and collagen.
Feel like Polly the parrot here, but I really feel that if you add too many phytoestrogens to your body when you are trying to balance things out with vitex, then the vitex doesn't get a chance to work properly, as it gets exhausted trying to balance all the extra stuff out.
Karen Johnston grew just with vitex by itself.
I too am getting on much better since quitting WU. I do feel that collagen will bring extra added benefits and will be good for the programme. Am still doing the borage/vitE/ropehip massages and taking the vit and mineral supps.

hey feary, just a quick question, how did you know for SURE that the wonderup wasn't working? and you should just take the vitex? I still get tingles and stuff and although I am taking natureday, I have been thinking along the same lines, like maybe its hindering the vitex from working. This is my fourth week, and I think I have seen some growth, but am not entirely sure yet. I'm going to go bra shopping today or tomorrow and see if I can find some bs that fit like my other one, because the a's are feeling tight and constricting. My problem is most of the b's I don't fill out completely so I still feel they are too big. But thats a different topic. Back to what I was asking.........should I ditch my 1 pill of natureday a day, or finish the bottle? At the rate I am taking them, I've got a good month and a half left!!!!
I am seriously at the point that if I can just get some nice full bs that look like b's then I might just ditch the whole trying to get to a c thing. Still will take the Vitex, as I am seeing some nice results from it, but the kicker will be this months and next months pms, and then I'll know for sure. So if I continue to grow with just that, then it will be great, if not yet can be a nice full B then I would be very content.

It would be amazingo to grow alone with Vitex. Much more cheap and without filling the body of herbs. I am going to try for now Vitex + SP + WU and see the results.
Do you think when must I decid about leaving WU or not? 1 month?

Listen, if what you are doing now is working for you, then I suggest you keep things as they are. Don't fix what aint broken.....lol!
You ask how I knew that WU wasn't working.......Well, had been taking it since the start of August and all I got was luteal swelling/yo-yo boobs for months. Like I'd feel as if I was growing and had tingles etc, but as soon as the period went it was instant deflation :-{
It wasn't til I was into the vitex for some weeks that I noticed growth again with no deflation....WOO HOO!!
How do I know that WU wasn't working? Intuition Henri. I practise Reiki and Seichim. Hahaha, am a bitty spooky at times. Asides from that, after 42 years, I know my body pretty well.
Oh..........ending pot 3 of vitex and I had no period pains of PMS whatsoever on my last period which was totally amazing!!! A pain free period.
I hope you start to feel the full effects soon.

I cut out phytoestrogens to take a break from them about 2 weeks ago. I have continued to take a number of herbs including:
Vitex (currently 1600 mg/day)
Damiana
Saw Palmetto
Wild Yam
The amazing thing is, I feel like I have grown more in the last two weeks than I did for the last month before that (I was stalling at that time). I was planning to add fenugreek back into my program starting on day 1 of my next cycle, but now I am wondering if this is even necessary! I guess maybe I will see if I get a lot of shrinkage after my period. If I do, then I'll add the fenugreek back in, but if I don't shrink, then that would mean that this is real growth, and I will just stick with the program I am on, even though it contains very little phytoestrogens.
I just find it hard to believe that this can work, since almost all breast-enhancement products are based on phytoestrogens. But still, it seems that this approach using vitex is really working for some of us!

Just a quick question for those using Vitex and having good results - how many of you are on BC of some type and are PMS symptoms usually really bad? I have an IUD and don't get periods, but get acne and irritable each month just the same. Just wondering if it works best for those not using BC and and for those with really severe PMS symptoms. Still have two months of WU left and I am already taking Vitex, now I am concerned that Vitex and WU may be working against each other. Any thoughts ???

im taking 2 capsules of vitex along with wonder up and sp. i think its working fine..im getting the tingles and some growth retains after period.i will see wot happens when i start this month. if i deflate then i might ditch the vitex but not the wonder up...i get major pains in my smaller breast and then after the pain goes away i can see that the breast has gone more rounder at the bottom...if ur getting the tingles stick with it i think...if ur not then change ur program abit....thats wot im going to do.

Thanks Girls, I am going to stick with what I am doing right now. I am getting alot of tingles and strong pains in my smaller side, and as I mentioned I think there has been some growth, just don't know 100%. I'll give it another month or two and then see how things grow.
I am taking 1 natureday day pill a day, along with the vitex, so thats what I'll continue taking.

hi girls what i nice encouraging thread... I;m on my second cycle with vitex and i had no deflation after my period either... THIS IS A MIRACLE FOR ME. I haven;t had luteal swelling but just a steady fullness. I seem fuller in the mornings when i first wake up... but to not deflate at day 5 of my cycle is a MAJOR VICTORY. I'm on

I just wanna say thanks Diana, js89 & Donna you girls helped me alot. And guess what I bought my first Herb caps! I'm soo excited! I bought the one you told me to buy Donna the Brand from Natures own Vitex 1000 60 caps. It feels great knowing that you know where to buy it when it runs out cos I don't really trust buying things online for some reason.
Do you take 1 or 2 vitex caps before breakfast? because thats what it tells me to do on the dosage tells me to do. Also do you take it at night aswell?

im 28 years old and have breast fed two kids. i want roundness im my breasts again...sick of the sagginess. not concentrating on growing outwards at this stage cos even growing rounder is visably noticable. rounder, firmer, then out we goooooooooooooooo thats wot im after!

I really feel like Vitex may be making a huge difference for me too. But I'll know for sure after my period, when the swelling either goes away or stays.

Hi, I'm posting again in case anyone has any insight
From what I'm reading, Vitex might not be good for someone like me who tends to have low estridiol. Any thoughts on this? I do not seem to have estrogen dominance.

I'm in Tasmania and I get mine from Priceline Pharmacy - varies from about $14 - $18 per bottle and lasts about 1 month. Brand is Natures Own Vitex 1000 - 60 caps - take two per day. Hope that helps !!!

I just wanna say thanks Diana, js89 & Donna you girls helped me alot. And guess what I bought my first Herb caps! I'm soo excited! I bought the one you told me to buy Donna the Brand from Natures own Vitex 1000 60 caps. It feels great knowing that you know where to buy it when it runs out cos I don't really trust buying things online for some reason.
Do you take 1 or 2 vitex caps before breakfast? because thats what it tells me to do on the dosage tells me to do. Also do you take it at night aswell?

Sorry if this was answered already, I couldn't find it. Are you guys taking the whole herb or the extract? The lady at the health food store told me it only comes in extract but I could swer I had seen it in whole herb. Thanks

Glad you found the Vitex - did you go to Priceline? I have been taking 2 caps in the morning - but have decided to try 1 cap in morning and one cap at night to see if anything different happens as Karen Johnson (who first posted about Vitex) was taking Morning and night about 12 hours apart. Goodluck with it !!!

I see this forum was like a year ago. But since you took it for I'm sure 5months? Or around there? How much did you grow? I'm on my 12th day and all I see his SLIGHT fullness. Nothing noticeable though.
