Is there much of a difference in terms of effectiveness with fenugreek with the normal seed as opposed to extract of 50% saponins?

Thinking about trying the other routine of fenugreek/sp/redclover. But it is so many pills and my wife is interested but the idea of swallowing 12 pills a day is too much.
It seems like, if there's any difference at all, the extract might actually be more effective than the pills, especially if it's standardized. I don't see any reason why she shouldn't use extracts only. If you go that route, maybe you could try switching out the RC with hops after a few months, and then switching back when you hit another stall. In the past, people who used RC for months on end typically hit a brick wall after a while. Maybe alternating between the two will help you avoid that. My theory is that RC sometimes raises progesterone too much over time, unless you take breaks, but as always, I might be totally wrong.
Well she would use it as an alternate to PM routine. The problem is she already isn't happy about 3 pills a day. 2pm 1chasteberry.

I don't use FG capsules but I do use both the powder and extract.
I think that they are pretty much the same in terms of effectiveness as they both give me good swelling. But the extract wins in terms of convenience and personal preference. It's just easier for me to take the extract as I don't have an encapsulator for the powder which means I have to weigh out my doses. I can't really say that FG extract is great for growth because I've only been doing herbal NBE for almost 2 months. However I do use FG powder in my massage concoctions.

Does the bottle indicate how much of whole fenugreek the extract is equivalent to?
Nope

Agreed. I've always switched between RC and Hops every two to three months. Kept things moving at a good pace for me.

Now that I know extracts exist, I've been only using extracts. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a FG extract, so I can't say as to how you should do dosing. But the extracts are a lot more potent, which also means a LOT less pills (I went from 6 SP a day to 2, and 4 RC a day to 2 also). She could just try it and take about half or a little under half of the regular amount and see what it does for her.
hi ,,, all I have is fenugreek powder... how can I use it?
Another idea to increase effectiveness and the amount of the estrogenic properties of fenugreek is to get whole seeds and attempt to sprout them. I read that that increases the amount. Fenugreek is also supposed to be quite tasty so it might be a nice alternative to eat it verses just swallow a pill?

I think the extract you have is 10:1 (in terms of saponins).
