Hi!!

-I posted this on the other part of the forum but I wasn't sure where I'd get a quicker response lol

I kind of want a little more on my backside and I know that maca root is supposed to help with that. The big issue is that I'm on bc pills/sexually active and I think I might need to find another alternative for the maca. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or is it ok to take with the bc pills?

I asked my pharmacist a while back about it, but I don't think they know much when it comes to these kind of herbs b/c she told me that I should be ok and that the only things that she knows that will negatively affect bc pills are antibiotics...

-I also forgot to mention that I'll be starting UB next week

I took maca while on birth control and UB. I was fine, I didn't get pregnant or anything its ok to take all three!

Wow. It sounds a bit dangerous but if you feel fine, keep doing so and just keep a journal on how you feel.

This is the first time i've heard of Maca interferring with bc pills... I've been taking maca on and off as a supplement, not just for sexual health but overall health. Powder form (in smoothies), and capsules. Has not affected the bc one bit, and it won't. Only affect i've gotten is increased libido BIG TIME
