My period has been very strict and 'on the dot' for the past 2 years. Every 28 days.
Well I re-started herbs last month (taking Greenbush #2) and my period hasn't shown up. It's almost a week late at this point. And I can't decide wether it's the herbs, or I'm pregnant. Getting worried so I stopped taking herbs 2 days ago. Waiting for it to come.
Could the greenbush kit really change my hormones so much for my cycle to go off-kilter? I need to know, as I'm worried it could be a pregnancy.

The strangest thing is, on the day it was due I had all my period symptoms--- PMS, swollen breasts, cramps, and felt like I was going to burst with blood. Then it just went away!

Anyone else notice this when starting herbal NBE?
I personally haven't missed a period since being on NBE but it has gotten whacky. I'm on the pill and mines started late a few times compared to what I was used to before starting NBE. You should prob just get a cheap prego test just to be on the safe side and to give yourself a piece of mind. This month my period was late and I got a test just to make sure. Lol stupid tho cuz right after I peed on the stick guess what decided to show up.
Oh good that's good to hear, I'm sure it's just late then. It's only a week late though so taking a pregnancy test would be a waste of $$ at this point. I'd need to wait at least another 2 weeks before I do that.
And I hate the waiting!! Agh I just want to get my period. Or somehow magically know that I'm pregnant. Uncertainty is frustrating.

But I'm glad to hear someone else's cycle got wacked on this. I bet that's it.
Interesting to hear this! I usually do not have a period, because I have a hormonal spiral. But immediatly after beginning with herbs, I felt the 'good old' feeling of menstruation, and three days later there it was! I was wondering if there was a relationship between those two, but now I know!
I've been on NBE for about 4 months now, and had never experienced any changed with my monthly. Then, about two weeks ago, I switched from Wal-Mart's Saw Palmetto to the Vitamin Shoppe brand. My breasts started growing pretty much right away, and now I'm about a week late, even though I've had all the usual symptoms for this whole week that I should have had my monthly. I'm guessing it's my SP, but I'm wondering if it could also be my hops (I cleansed and then switched from Red Clover to Hops about a month ago).

I've cut down on my SP dosage since I'm pretty sure that's it, but if it's much later I'll have to stop taking my herbs altogether. :/

It's strange that I've been on NBE so long and haven't had any changes until now, but I guess it just goes to show how much of an effect these things can have on your body.
Yes, I'm supposed to have finished my Cycle #2, but completely missed it after taking PM for 1 Cycle (14 days). Now I'm skipping the PM pills and have started taking Milk Thistle to clear my system in the last two days. I think it's working because I'm finally getting spotting. Interesting what Milk Thistle can do.
I stopped taking my pills for three days before it finally came. :/ I would normally be ok with that, except I had period acne for the entire time I waited to get it. Yuck. I guess I'll have to stop taking my pills a few days in advance now and start an extra tough acne regimen at the same time to keep things normal.
I finally got it 3 weeks late. At least I'm not pregnant.
Mines coming up to 2 weeks late, does any one know why your period comes late, is it becoz of too much estrogen or too much progestone?

I was on PM from days 1-13 then milk thistle and fennel tea until day 28.

Huh

Wahaika recommends taking one day break to trigger ovulation:

I tried doing this for three months, the first two it worked perfectly, on the third one my period came more than a week later though. Perhaps I should have taken the break on day 17 instead.
