Hi i am very confused on what to buy, can somebody tell me the difference between the two? And I've read that the wild yam root extract has diosgenin, what does it do? Thank you !

There might not be any difference and I would need more information to be sure. However I suspect that the second one is root extract, whereas the first is definitely the whole root of the wild yam.

Yes, it's as I thought. One is wild yam root extract and the other is the whole wild yam root.
