Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any very good waist slimming tips. First a little about me:

Age: 31
Weight: 122 lb
Waist: 25"
Underbust: 28" -28.5
Height: 5'4"

As you can see, I don't way too much for my height. I also really like my curves. I have a shapely behind, nice thighs, and overall I"m pretty happy with how I look at my weight. However, if I could get a tinier waist I would be very happy with everything. My waist, my boobs, and my posture are the main things I'd like to improve in my appearance.

I exercise relatively often, not as much now with Brava, but about 2-3 times a week with weights, cardio and abs.

I eat well, mostly, I have 1-2 small deserts a day (each under 250 cal). I have one glass of red wine a day. Other than those 2 sins, I don't eat a lot of carbs, generally none in the evening. Lots of proteins and greens.

I walk about 4 mi every day.

I also take about 2200 mg of fenugreek a day as part of my program (as well as up to 1000 mg of PM on certain days in my cycle).

I'd love to lose about 2" of my waist and go down to 23". Not sure if it's possible, but I definitely see some extra pudge around it, so at least get rid of that.
I was quite shocked when I heard this, as this is one of the oldest tips I know. According to the guru on the show, it is not the hula hoop, but the motion it induces that causes the toning of the stomach. Some may think the warm, burning sensation caused by the hoop (especially if it is quite a heavy one) is that of fat being burned, but it is in fact just irritation of the skin from the repeated friction. Just mimicking the circular motion would achieve the same results as hula hooping, but with less damage to your body.

From the two measurements you gave, underbust and waist, I couldn't imagine you'd have any "pudge". I have to say this as it sounds like you're around the same type of structure as me. Before my son I had a 24-25" waist, my underbust goes between 27-28". At that time I believed I had "pudge" too and worked out, ate right, blah blah same as you. I honestly think this could be in your mind. Looking back on old pics of myself, I had a flat tummy, I had a small waist, etc. So it could be you being to critical on yourself. Now, after my son my hips are bigger, butt is bigger, and after losing post pregnancy weight I went to a 26-27" waist. Now since turning 21, I'm 24 now btw, I gained a little weight here and there, grew from NBE. My hips are 38" bust 36 1/2" underbust last I checked 27 1/2", waist 28" (eventhough I hate to admit that). But think about it, given my measurements, my waist eventhough it's not as small as it use to be or I'd like it to be, it's right for my new body now. I have pretty much an hourglass figure. So before you get too hard on yourself about your TINY 25" waist, take a look in the mirror and ask yourself do I really need to make it smaller? A good way to feel better about yourself is to look in the mirror everyday once a day at least semi or fully nude and say at least one compliment about your appearance, how sexy you look, what is sexy, etc. That helped me. Even now when I'm considered "thick" or "curvy" for my size (5'1 btw) I feel sexy, pudge and all Wink
Heh, Yeah, I've been in kind of a weird place. Lots of interest in improvement of external to fix the internal if you know what I mean. Since this post I'm down to 24" inches, but it's due to overall unintended weight loss which at this point isn't really all that awesome! I miss my ass. I have seen a few pics of you and I do believe we're shaped in a similar way (except you have boobs, haha). It's weird, these are all little things, all in all. I don't think anyone really notices these changes as much as I myself do, but sometimes it's easier to beat yourself up over something you can actually see or point your finger at.
a 24 in waist is great i lost weight unintentionally like you, i have 25in waist, 28in underbust but im a bit taller 5ft7 but like u i miss my butt im trying maca and exercise to get it back n maybe better. but like Anastasia said you dont need it smaller it will look smaller and youll get more of an hourglass anyway with nbe
