Hello Cristy,

If I understand the question right, you are asking if there is anything special about doing the circles as opposed to other methods?

The only thing special about the method I think you are referring to is the direction of the circles. It is to go down on the inside and up on the outside. I don't know if there is really anything special about it, as the Japanese methods go back and forth on direction, but it does have a good track record for getting results. What it mainly does is to push the herb(s) and carrier oil deep into the skin. The herbs and oil used are important also, as is the heat applied afterwards whether it be a heated pad on low heat or towels from the dryer.

I also am of the opinion that the best time to start a program is in the beginning of spring or slightly before.

Hello Cristy,

That is a good question. The answer is that you may never see results.

It all depends on a lot of other things that have to happen at the same time.

Do me a favor, describe in detail the massage method that you are going to use as you understand it today. Include what to massage with, how long to massage, how to massage, everything. I would like to know where you're at with this so I can better guage my responses.

Also describe the program that you are going to follow for internals. Massage could work by itself, under the right circumstances, but without internals it is not as likely.

The way BE works is one cell at a time. Cells have receptor sites. Receptors are like keyholes in a lock. Hormones, like everything else, have a certain molecular structure, which is like a key. Estrogen receptors will "dock" with estrogen because it is the structure that they are looking for. When an estrogen molecule comes along, it docks with the site like a key in a lock. When this happens, the cell produces whatever it was designed, or programmed, to produce.

Phytoestrogens are very similar to real estrogen produced by the body, only these are produced by certain plants. They have a molecular structure that is different from estrogen, but just close enough to dock (or bind weakly) with the receptor site, somewhat like a skeleton key.

The idea is, since real estrogen is not available as a non prescription suppliment and would be a big mistake to use anyway, to ingest phytoestrogens which are thousands of times weaker than real estrogen, but still can do the job of binding with receptor sites which actions the program of the cell - to produce whatever that cell is programmed to do. Some phytoestrogens bind to the receptor site in a way that does not action the program of the cell.

There are two forms of ingesting phytoestrogens. Internal - which is to eat them. External - which is to rub them on the skin so that they will absorb through the skin.

You are using a moisturizing cream. That is Ok. But you need to add a phytoestrogen. I suggest fenugreek extract from here:
http://www.greenbush.net/4ounfenex.html
There are a couple of forms of the "Chi Massage." Here are the highlights of what I think works the best:
1. preheat your chest for a few minutes with a heated pad set to low.
2. massage in the "booby batter" as I have heard it called. In your case, this will be moisturizing cream with enough fenugreek extract to cover the entire area (clavicles to bottom of breasts, outer edge to outer edge) added to it. I also recommend adding some Borage Oil.
3. Massage it into the skin using your hands and knuckles, doing about 300 rotations each side. The direction of rotation is down in the middle and up on the side (one side will be clockwise, the other will be counter clockwise) Press firm but not too hard. This is not a back massage.
4. Cover with saran wrap, a heated pad set to low for 20 to 30 minutes.
5. Leave the concoction on overnight if possible.
Do this at least once per day, twice if possible. If you miss a day or two it's no problem.

There is a variety of internal programs you could consider. Do your homework and read, read, read. The best time to start a program is at the beginning of spring, so you have more than enough time to understand what works, what doesn't, and what you think that you would like to do.

You have plenty of help here and I will be happy to help also.

Asperagus and chicken foot soup are the best foods. There are others in a special post somewhere on here. Perhaps in the newbie section.

Everything in the post just above is to be made at home. But there are some things, like fenugreek, that you need to buy at the store/health food store. Even your moisturizing cream falls into this category. There are probably other things that could be tried but they are probably going to be ineffective.

It has not yet been tried, but I *think* that it would. If it does work, give it about 6 to 8 weeks to begin to see results.

Cristy,

Yep, it is one of the methods with a good track record. I think you have already found a link with some women talking about it. Ask them how they are doing it and how much success they are having with it. That would be better information than some of the older links.

It depends on what you use, but the results should be permanent. But even if they are not permanent, all you would do is find a maintenance routine that works for you and do it.
