Full Version: How Long Should You Stick With Non-Working Program

I've been trying to enlarge me breasts for years now (off and on) with no results. Been through BO for about a year, Fenugreek for a few months, Noogling & massaging off and on for 2 years, currently doing PM for the past 3 months and just added goats rue last month. No results at all. Sure, sometimes I get the tiniest bit of swelling or feel sensations in my breasts, but nothing I've tried has resulted in growth.

I know now that BO doesn't work for me. I'm getting the impression PM and goats rue isn't going to work for me either. Same with Noogleberry.

Is it time for me to move on to the next thing (herbs)? If I try one more program without it working I'm probably going to get the dreaded implants already. Sad
Hey lady,
I am in the same boat with you on this one. I have been trying various NBE methods since 2007 with little avail. I've grown maybe 1/2 an inch in this time and the shape has changed just a tad. Not much to write home about at all... I was just about ready to give up and try going the route of fat transfer breast augmentation when I decided to give it another go.

Is there any reason NBE may not be working for you? Have you been consistent enough? Are you healthy? Are you eating right? Massaging enough? For me, the answer is no to many of those questions. I re-researched and decided to try a different approach of starting on very low doses of herbs and slowly working my way up depending on those tingling pains. I also changed from the chi massage, which didn't do anything for me but make my arms and shoulder hurt, to chiyomilk's massage. I seem to already be having some success, and I just re-started at the beginning of this month. I am also keeping a daily journal and marking down when I take my herbs, so I have a record to refer back to.

There is a lot of talk on here about yin and yang and body temperature and how that works for NBE. I've been seeing an acupuncturist for a few weeks now who told me I have a cold and damp condition. I think this is why NBE hasn't worked for me before. I am working with her on that and hopefully will see a change. Maybe see if there is something in your current life you can change or add to boost your chances of success.

Best of luck!
DITTO for me too. Started in 2010 with NG then BO then PM now FG/WY/SP/GR. Nothing either. I also take GABA, MSM & tons of vitamins. Use PM & Volufiline topicals twice a day. Have gained some weight (110 to 118 lbs) to try & help but it goes to my mid section, thighs & butt not my breasts. Just started on L arginine on another person's advice. My problem (might be) that I'm post menopausal & no postmenopausal women on this forum have answered me on their successes.
i've been trying NBE since august 2010, and before that, i had a 4 months stint with herbs back in 2005. i tried BO, herbs, Noogling, PM etc... i've gotten slightly fuller and rounder, but not a cup size.

i was consistent in my program(s). i had thyroid issues at first (which came after i started BO). i didn't make any progress AT ALL until i resolved the thyroid problem. now i am healthy, eating well, exercising not too much, not too little, yet, no amount of herb or PM ever gives me the tingles.

so while i think the words of encouragement on this forum are nice to keep you on path with your program, it does get tiresome after a while. so yes, i'm in the same boat.

at first, i was very frustrated thinking why is that the majority of the people grew and mines didn't. but after scouring the forum for over a year, and thinking critically about what's being written, i honestly think there are more unsuccessful stories than successful ones. some people claim to have gained on the bust, but they also gained underbust. that's just them gaining weight. quite a few people claim to have gained .15"... really? how do you measure to that exact? i've been measuring myself for over a year and my margin of error is around .25" (maybe more). sure there have been successful stories, but more often than not, they're from people who's had larger breasts, lost them, then through NBE, gained back their size. i'm not denying that there are a few people on here who's made really good progress. i just wanted to break the delusion that everyone who tries NBE will succeed.

having said all that, i'm still sticking to my program and churning along. not because i have some high hopes of gaining a few cup sizes by next year, but because i don't want to give up all hopes.

if your program isn't giving you any negative side effects, i say give it a year before quitting.
Hi ladies,

Have you read the conclusion Mochaccino picked out of the cosupplementation study?
http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=8419&pid=41168#pid41168
I linked the study here:
http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=8419&pid=41147#pid41147

Hops, soy, and flax depend on the intestinal microbes to make the active phyto-estrogens out of the precursors that are in the herbs. The study highlighted that these intestinal microbes are very different between different people. Some people do well on hops, some on soy, and some on flax. The study did not include PM, but I expect the results would be similar. You can't say you don't grow on "herbs" before you've tried a few different categories.

With the help of analytical chemistry, those researchers split their test subjects into four groups in a few weeks. After a one month break, my growth on hops started in the third month. So trying hops, soy, flax, and PM with breaks of one month in between would take at least 15 months. Once you've found your herb, that's about the time it will take to grow six cup sizes Big Grin
Glad to know I'm not alone/abnormal, although I do hope all of us make it work eventually.

Thanks so much for the info Isabelle! Is it okay to take all at the same time, just to save time experimenting. I think Eve took soy, hops and flax? I'm on PM - do you think PM + the 3 that I think Eve took would be okay to take at the same time?
Hi leeannel,

I think it's OK. But another conclusion of the cosupplementation study is that while intestinal microbes are working on one supplement, they can't work on another, so cosupplementation is slightly less efficient than taking the herb that really works for you alone. Increasing the doses is not the solution: it only gives the microbes more work.
Thanks so much for your input. You are one brainy babe. Certainly much better and researching and interpreting all this boobie stuff than I am!
