I no longer recommend PM in cream form.

#1

I no longer recommend Pueraria Murifica in cream form.

The only cream that I have suggested has been St. Herb. I have learned that St. Herb breast cream contains Polysorbate 80, which does not appear on the list of ingredients on the web page for this cream.
http://www.puerariamirifica.com/pueraria...-cream.htm

For more information on Polysorbate 80, see:
http://www.drugs.com/cdi/darbepoetin-alf...te-80.html

I'm not saying that there is necessarily anything wrong with St. Herb PM cream in reality, but in theory this ingredient could cause some very undesirable side effects.

Hi.
I am biological male and have been on a daily herb programme for 4-5 months.
I have purchased a bottle of PM capsules however one of the forums contributors has indicated perhaps I should temporarily stop the herbs, which were 6 x 610mg GF, 6 x 450mg SP and 3 x 405mg WY, before moving on to something new.
As I am not young but in my prime years and am trying to fufill a long felt desire please could you let me have your thoughts on how I might achieve my goal before it is just too late.
Thanks for reading this...assuming you are:-)

Certainly. But first, if someone wanted to commit suicide, and asked me how to do it the most efficiently, should I try to talk them out of it or should I tell them how to do it?

If polysorbate 80 is so bad then why do people use it in foods and lotions/creams.. and even for medical usage (vaccines/parenteral administration)..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polysorbate_80

They even sell it in bulk at
http://www.bulkactives.com/polysorbate80.htm
and this website states that
"Polysorbate 80 is a safe, food grade, non-ionic emulsifier. It can be used with a co-emulsifier, such as Lecithin to cover a wide range of oil in water, and water in oil emulsion systems. Individually, it is an excellent solubilizer of essential oils, wetting agent, viscosity modifier, stabilizer and dispersing agent."

I have the same questions. I'm still learning about it as I have time, but I really trust the drugs.com website and based on what they had to say about it, along with other information, I decided to speak out against it. I have seen plenty of claims that it is safe for food, like ice cream, but so far I have been unable to find anything with it in the U.S., but I haven't looked that hard either.

Here is a list of more names. (80, specifically, is the subject. The other polysorbates may be fine - such as 60, for example.)

http://www.fda.gov/ICECI/ComplianceManua...074563.htm

The search goes on.

(BTW. BulkActives sells polysorbate 80. While selling it may not cloud their judgment, I am still trying to find more neutral sources.)

Polysorbate 80 is an emulsifier. ITS been established as safe in food products and topicals for many many years. Snap out of it.

ITS used throughout the world including the US.

Why don't you challenge that any other big name on the label or entity that is alien to you is unsafe............

Still researching. Not yet convinced polysorbate-80 is safe.

Hi Wahaika!
Kinda confuse here..Do you mean that PM contain the polysorbate-80 or St.Herbs only?

If only St. Herbs, it doesnt mean that other brand contain polysorbate-80 too right?

St Herb only, at that time. It is was not listed on their website last time I checked. The only way to find out was to order it. I don't know about other brands.
