A little purple on lowest setting

#1

So I just started my NBE journey a few days ago. This is my third day pumping. I have read on here serveral times that your breasts should never turn purple while pumping but I don’t know how to avoid it! I am pumping on the very lowest setting of my bosom beauty (level 1) and so far only 30 min at a time. I don’t feel any pain at all, even  the amount of pressure seems mild. And yet my boobs turn a purplish color every time. I also only have red rings for about a minute or two after pumping. Is it dangerous for me to continue? Thanks

Oh and I forgot to mention that I am using the medium contoured, padded, bosom beauty cups and my measurements are 27 waist and 30 or 30.5 across my bust (depending on how loosely I measure).
I usually wear 32 c bras but I am a very loose c. Or a very full 32b

Hi suspect this is mostly because you're new and your skin hasn't adapted yet. You should be drinking lots of water and apply a generous layer of coconut oil to lubricate your breasts.

I’m using lots of coconut oil and shea butter while I massage before pumping and then another big scoop right before I put the cups on. But I could definitely up my water intake significantly so I’ll do that and then maybe just take it slow these first couple of weeks. Thank you very much for the good suggestions!
