Stubbornfemme's Program

#21

I know that progesterone and estrogen enhance each other's effects to both receptors, but the conclusion from that abstract didn't make sense to me.

The abstract of Botanical modulation of menopausal symptoms: Mechanisms of action? shows yam which has the same active chemical as fenugreek, diosgenin, to have possibly both progesteronic and estrogenic properties.

Apart from that, from fenugreek's specific action, its main action is the same as progesterone.

A different subject, "Botanical modulation of...", shows how kudzu (related to P. Murifica) is believed to have an estrogenic and serotonic (this potentially translates to prolactin) effect.

Thank you Pom, I love to work out! I am disappointed but try not to be. I used the noogle berry for a year with inconsistencies and different hours/techniques ect but no success with it. Really minimizing my use of it now. How long are you able to wear your corset? I can't seem to get past 4 hours with it, usually I only get 2 hours in... I hate itRolleyes

If fenugreek isn't Estrogenic do you think I am missing an Estrogenic herb in my program? I take fenugreek, dandelion root, white peony tea, Msm and a protein supplement. Any suggestions or tweaks?

Alright, do my trick, and you will be able to wear it longer. I wear it when I fast-no drink no food, so I wear it in the morning and go to work (office work) and then come home and before my dinner time I take it off after around 10 to 12 hours. Mine is a cincher by Rago (Amazon) and it is 28" waist. I am 31 to 32 inch waist so it compresses me a lot. Try it. POM

I'll say it again, FG is estrogenic,

You'll find more evidence of the estrogenic activity of FG here.

Background & objectives: Trigonella foenum graecum commonly known as fenugreek, has been widely cultivated in Asia, Africa and Mediterranean countries for the edible and medicinal values of its seeds. Earlier reports show that fenugreek seeds provide a mastogenic effect resulting in enhanced breast size. However, very little is known about its estrogenic effect. The present study investigated the effect of chloroform extracts of fenugreek seeds (FCE) in breast cancer cells for its estrogenic effect, and to assess its capacity as an alternative to hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Methods: The effect of FCE on cell proliferation of estrogen receptor (ER) positive breast cancer cells, MCF-7 was studied by MTT assay at a concentration range of 20 to 320 μg/ml. The competitive ER binding assay (HAP assay) was done to find out the ER binding capacity of the extract. Transfection and reporter assay (DLR assay), and RT- PCR with an estrogen responsive gene pS2 were done to find out the transcriptional regulatory activity of FCE. Results: FCE stimulated the proliferation of MCF-7 cells, showed binding to ER (IC50 = 185.6 ± 32.8 μg/ml) and acted as an agonist for ER mediated transcription via ERE. It also induced the expression of estrogen responsive gene pS2 in MCF-7 cells. Interpretation & conclusion: Our study provided the evidence for estrogenic activities of fenugreek seeds. Further in vitro and in vivo studies could demonstrate its suitability as an alternative to HRT.

Mine is a 20 inch and I have about a 24 inch waist. It's a lace up so its not actually 20 inches haha I have it very loose. I tried to wear it to bed, got a few hours. I can't imagine wearing it to work, I'm not as committed to it as I am to my breast enlargement journey. Do you find that your corset takes away from breast swelling?

I don't know, but as you said you look better. Around my breast I am around 40" under 34", so with a 28" cincher, believe me it looks good-Smile I used to have a pic of it here, but I removed it.

lol Lotus Big Grin I was just curious since she believes that it isn't Estrogenic then what would she replace it with? I am interested in hearing different opinions and advice on this forum since it can be a little dead sometimes,in my opinion at least. Also I really want to try new things if this program doesn't work.

Ah, jealous. Haha yes I notice it does take away temporary swelling, but swelling isn't growth so not a big deal. I originally started the corset to make my tiny hips look more proportioned as well. It hasn't been two weeks yet so I think I will eventually get used to more hours of wear.

Oh, jealous of your waist-Smile It is all about symmetry and proportionality-in my eyes. My hip is now 38" (was 36") so it is catching up with my bust. POM
