PM + Herbs?

#1

I'm new to this forum & yesterday I went out and bought fenugreek, saw palmetto, wild yam, evening primrose oil, fennel seed and dong quai to start a herbal + massage breast routine.

Then I found out about Pueraria Mirifica and have been reading awesome reviews, and now am thinking of ordering some. Would it be ok to take PM with my herbs I just purchased? I spent a bunch of money on them!

Also on this forum I have noticed girls are taking PM during certain times of their monthly cycle. On other websites I have read nothing about taking PM at certain times. What happens if you take it randomly? Help! I'm a huge newbie lol XD

Dear Jennifer93,

Welcome!! If you read through the various postings, you will see that you may not need any other herbs than PM-in some cases, it may be counterproductive. When using PM, start with a lower dosage and then move up based on the hormonal cycle.

Good luck!

Things like wild yam, and saw palmetto should be taken whilst you are not cycling on PM.

I knew about the wild yam, and good old fenugreek, but why the saw palmetto in absence of PM? I know it's anti-androgen, sorry if I'm being silly, (possibly information overload!) and I'm confusing it with something else. It's very hard to process the mountain of info when you are just beginning!

Hi Jberish,
Are you saying one shouldn't take Saw Palmetto with PM? I am currently taking 640mg of Saw Palmetto a day with 100-200mg of Siriporn PM everyday from days 1-12 of my cycle. I thought SP is ok because it's not a photo-estrogen so it doesn't compete with the receptors?

Hi jerseymystery,

Try leaving the cayenne out. It really gets your blood pumping.

Ah nuts I would have thought that the herbs would help! I think I'll stay on the herbs and if they don't work I'll try the PM.

Sandra & jerseymystery, have either of you noticed growth from the PM? Is it likely my tittays will grow from the herbs I purchased?

ALSO;

I have irregular periods so I'm not sure how the cycle thing works. Call me a newb but I never paid much attention to my "cycle". Would I be able to just take different amounts of PM depending on the day of the month?

Thanks for the help people Smile
