Hey everyone. So I've been taking herbs for about a month, noogling a little over a week. The herbs seem to be giving me breakouts, though I have read that saw palmetto can help with that so I began taking that today. Now I'm wondering if I should switch to BO? Here's my current program (based off EveM's):

Hops 620 mg TID
Fenugreek 610 mg TID
Green Oat Grass 400 mg BID
Fennel 480 mg QD
Flaxseed Oil 1000 mg QD
Alfalfa 500 mg QD
Barley Grass 500 mg BID
Soy Lecithin 1200 mg QD
+Saw Palmetto 600 mg BID

In addition to these I've been doing the boobie batter chi massage twice daily and drinking Organic Mother's Milk tea daily. I am currently a 32B and would like to be a 32D/34C realistically, larger if possible. I seem to be making slow progress and am definitely having "boobache" but I am concerned about the breakouts. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Thanks!
Hi Marisa Miller,

The oats in Eve M's program was oat tops (seeds), not grass.

But I think the real problem is the flaxseed oil. For a start, it's too much. Eve M used linseed (flax seed) as such. Flax seed is only 20 % oil, so you can divide her dose by 5. Secondly, if it's not cold pressed, the oil contains lignans. Lignans are anti-aromatase. You need aromatase to convert testosterone into estrogen. It's the estrogen that makes you grow.

If your testosterone cannot be converted into estrogen, you will accumulate testosterone, which will eventually be converted to DHT. That causes the breakouts. SP blocks the path from testosterone to DHT, and so does the barley grass.

Check the ingredients in the mother's milk tea. You are already drinking a lot of fennel tea. Fennel also contains phyto-progrestins. Progesterone and progestins stop NBE development in most women. A mother's milk formula usually contains fennel too, and other progestins, like licorice.
Thanks so much Isabelle! You are a very knowledgable woman. I cut out the oil and no breakouts. Would taking oil only once weekly be equally effective to actual seed daily then?
Thank you Marisa,

So happy this worked Smile

Once a week is worth a try. If it makes you break out again, it will not be immediately. Check your skin one or two days after. Over time, you'll be able to take more, but I'm not sure it will help your program. The discussion on flaxseed is not finished yet:

How did you choose soy lecithin? Eve used whole soy powder. And the obvious choice would be soy isoflavones, but I never read about success in NBE with that. I don't really understand how soy works in Eve's program:
(scroll down until you see the highlighted word "soy")

Happy growing Smile
Isabelle - I remember seeing it on someone's program (cannot remember whose) and just figured additional soy couldn't hurt. I'm already a pescetarian so I eat many products of soy already. Should I remove the lecithin? Any herbs I am missing which should be added? Thanks Smile
Hi Marisa,

I think you have everything there. If your thyroid slows because of the soy foods, you could try kelp (for iodine) and L-tyrosine. Taking the lecithin out will not make much difference for growth, so you might as well finish what you have.

If you stop lecithin, journal your mood. Herbs, especially hops, make you sleepy, even depressed. I think that's what the soy is for in Eve's program. Then the lecithin could be the best refined soy product to use. I don't really know, that's why I asked.
Isabelle - interestingly enough, I've always had a sluggish metabolism/been a calorie nazi. I will add kelp and see how I feel. Thanks so much for all the advice and pointers - you're freaking awesome!!
