Hey,
I have read through the forum extensively, but this is my first time posting.
I have been taking Swanson's BO for 2 1/2 cycles. My first cycle I gradually increased from 250g to 1000g taken once daily at night, and have maintained this dose from then without issue. I am also on birth control, and stop the BO whilst taking my inactive pills.
This last week, I have been bleeding (heavy spotting) with occasional mild period cramps.
This may be a normal side effect, but as it's something I havent experienced since starting birth control, I just wanted some advice or opinions from some seasoned experts.
Cheers!

Hi!
Maybe too much estrogen in your body? whereas you are on the pill at the same time with BO...probably

Thanks Janny, I appreciate your response.
After doing some more reading over the last week, I was thinking the same. The spotting has stopped these last couple days, but now it's time for my period, so I am going to take milk thistle while I'm on my inactive pills and try again with the BO when I'm back on the active pills. I've also ordered some progesterone cream in case the same happens next cycle.
