hey.I'm new here and was wondering if anyone could give me examples of plans that worked for women with excess androgens in regards to growing curves?Right now I want to focus on lower body growth and I heard women try maca but will that work If I have excess androgens?Or I'll it make my symptoms which are acne and hirsutism worse? What do you guys recommend herbwise or program wise?

Hi!

Have you done blood tests to check your hormones? Before starting a program, it's better if you find out where exactly all your levels are (estrogen/progesterone/testosterone) to avoid creating any further imbalances. If you have already done a test and you just have high T, then you could try reishi, spearmint tea, pumpkin seeds (personally, I had an unpleasant experience with these but maybe your body will get along just fine!) or pumpkin seed oil to lower your testosterone. It depends on how sensitive you are but watch out for adverse side effects, do research before taking these herbs.

As for maca, it's supposed to be an adaptogen but so many sources confirm that it raises DHEA and testosterone. I've read about several ladies on the forum who took maca and an anti-androgen at the same time so you could try that. Start low on the maca though!
