I read this on a thread about Leptin!!

Leptin also plays an important role in regulating and modulating the onset of puberty. For example undernourished and thin women take longer to reach puberty than heavier girls. Thin girls often fail to ovulate or release an egg from an ovary during menstruation cycles. Reproductive growth and fat stores are therefore vital in the regulation of reproduction.

Researchers know that leptin plays a role at least to some degree in the onset of puberty as individuals with an absence of leptin or a lack of response to leptin do not experience puberty, with their bodies remaining pre-pubescent for life.

Nice find (thanks). Leptin utilized for NBE is a key component in expressing aromatase, I like to think of it as fat cell technology. Here's some helpful information on Leptin (below). Btw, Leptin changes the TBig GrinHT ratio favoring estrogen.

I wonder if scientists have figured out a ratio of leptin over ghrelin in controlling hunger??, for another day perhaps (calling it a night lol). Smile

circulating leptin in pubertal gynecomastia is probably related to increase in estrogen and/or estrogen/ androgen ratio by the stimulating effect of leptin on aromatase enzyme activity in both adipose and breast tissues, or a direct growth stimulating effect of leptin on mammary epithelial cells, or increase in sensitivity of breast epithelial cells to estrogen with inducing functional activation of estrogen receptors by leptin in breast tissue.

I figured this out because I purchased some CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and first day my breast got full and heavy!! and they are pretty firm!! not perfectly firm like I would want them to be, but they are amazing compared to before the CLA!! so I did some research and came across that. Only downside is my belly is a little bloated.... so going to be adding in some adrenal support. CLA is derived from Safflower oil... so you could use safflower softgels or CLA softgels, doesn't matter as long as you are taking 3,000 mg a day. This helps boost breast really fast, especially if you didn't go through puberty properly like myself. I was underdeveloped due to my health issues, a horrible family doctor, and inhalers I had to take for asthma when I was a kid. I stopped taking the inhalers when I was around 12 or 13 and started all natural herbal remedies and eventually lessened my asthma. Now I only get exercise induced asthma. TMI, I know... but anyways... nothing I ever tried to increase HGH (human growth hormone) worked, and I couldn't ever get my hormones balanced, didn't know about all natural dht / androgen blockers, had severe cystic acne, and here I am 30 yrs old and feel like I'm starting pubery all over again!! Haha!! Big breasts tend to run naturally in my family. My mom was a 32 DD / E when I was a kid... They eventually sharnk due to hormone issues... but my grandmother was like a 38 F for years.... my cousin L (name shortened for protection reasons) is like a 36 DD. Even my cousin A is like a 34 D, her sister B is like a 36 DD. So I knew something had to be off when I didn't develop like I should have!! but I'm on the right track now and so happy!!

Thank you for posting this. I wonder if this happened to me. I developed anorexia when I was young, and my breasts which had only started showing, just stopped from that point forward. Literally still flat chested at the age of 27; I look the same age at which I developed my eating disorder. I was anorexic for many years, I kind of had a feeling I had kept myself from fully going through puberty and growing breasts due to it. Now when I gain weight, it goes everywhere but my breasts, so my hormones definitely were wacked up and never recovered. I'm going to look into CLA. No one else in my family has small breasts either. Wtf happened to me. Huh
Well I've decided to just pop the soft gels open and apply topically. Body isn't handling the softgels. Causing swelling in the feet. Topically seems to do fine.
Okay this might be a silly question but when you buy a leptin supplement what exactly do you have? A vegetable a herb?Huh a replica of a human thing? is leptin something our bodies produce? maybe somebody can explain this to me....thanks!!

Leptin is naturally produced in the body. You want to balance the adrenals. supplements that are good for that are Rhodiala Rosea, Gotu Kola, and Green Tea. Those will help boost Progesterone as well. If you have issues with belly fat, you might have Leptin Resistance. Eating healthy is also important. Some people are sensitive to CLA, as I myself have found recently that I am very sensitive to CLA. So I am rerouting for Adrenal Balance, i.e. switching to different supplements.
I am wondering if DMSO added to the safflower oil will enhance/speed up the absorbtion and growth?

I think some tests would need to be performed for reliability/efficacy.

Safflower oil isn't worth the risk of developing breast cancer.

Omega 6
research studies found that diets rich in omega-6 fatty acids may promote breast cancer development. DO NOT add fatty acid supplements, or any supplements, to your breast cancer treatment regimen without your doctor's approval.

Do both heterocyclic amines and omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids contribute to the incidence of breast cancer in post-menopausal women diet and cancer cohort?

Postmenopausal breast cancer is associated with high intakes of omega6 fatty acids (Sweden).

Abstract
Several sources of information suggest that human beings evolved on a diet with a ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 essential fatty acids (EFA) of approximately 1 whereas in Western diets the ratio is 15/1-16.7/1. Western diets are deficient in omega-3 fatty acids, and have excessive amounts of omega-6 fatty acids compared with the diet on which human beings evolved and their genetic patterns were established. Excessive amounts of omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and a very high omega-6/omega-3 ratio, as is found in today's Western diets, promote the pathogenesis of many diseases, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, and inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, whereas increased levels of omega-3 PUFA (a low omega-6/omega-3 ratio) exert suppressive effects. In the secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease, a ratio of 4/1 was associated with a 70% decrease in total mortality. A ratio of 2.5/1 reduced rectal cell proliferation in patients with colorectal cancer, whereas a ratio of 4/1 with the same amount of omega-3 PUFA had no effect. The lower omega-6/omega-3 ratio in women with breast cancer was associated with decreased risk. A ratio of 2-3/1 suppressed inflammation in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, and a ratio of 5/1 had a beneficial effect on patients with asthma, whereas a ratio of 10/1 had adverse consequences. These studies indicate that the optimal ratio may vary with the disease under consideration. This is consistent with the fact that chronic diseases are multigenic and multifactorial. Therefore, it is quite possible that the therapeutic dose of omega-3 fatty acids will depend on the degree of severity of disease resulting from the genetic predisposition. A lower ratio of omega-6/omega-3 fatty acids is more desirable in reducing the risk of many of the chronic diseases of high prevalence in Western societies, as well as in the developing countries, that are being exported to the rest of the world.
