What is Grow Yours?
May 1 2007 at 6:08 AM Natalia (Login starlessdreamer8)
I've seen a lot of talk about Grow Yours. I don't think I plan on trying it or anything like that. I just simply want to know a brief description of what it is and how it works. With out having to read through massively long threads.

Any one?

Thanks so much! Smile

Hi Natalia,
Grow Yours is a particular type of NBE program designed to enhance breast size through stimulating the breasts into lactation (or near lactation). It uses massage techniques that are done for 30 minutes twice a day. Right now the founder of the program is providing free trials as he gathers information about the effectiveness of the program. Soon the program will be for sale for about $150.

That's it in a nutshell. I am not on the program and those that are cannot talk about the specifics of the program due to a confidentiality agreement. However, if you read through the posts you get the idea the massage is a rather intense variation of some of the other massage techniques you can look at on the main page of the forum. There is a lot of talk about the massages varying depending on how much growth is achieved. Supposedly, the breast can be stimulated to grow without bringing it all the way to the lactation point. This program will require maintanance massages to keep the results.

Hope this was helpful,
waxingmoon

Just wanted to put my two cents worth in here. The secrecy is probably so he can actually sell the method, because if it were out and then posted on the boards for free, then he really wouldn't have a product to market.

The free trial was offered, because now they have set up a web program were you enter your info and get your instructions, but there seem to be some minor techinical difficulties, so we are testing the process and the site at the same time. He mentioned on the BeBoard that the free trial was not to prove the process worked, but for testing the site. I remember last year when I was starting my NBE process coming across the site then and the free trial was offered, but at the time I was so new to the whole NBE process I bypassed it.

The down side to the whole method is that you will need a maintanence to keep your growth. I believe a number of us plan on picking back up with herbs/bo/pm whatever once we achieve our desired size to try to make it more permanent, while others are doing both at the same time to try to help move things along and keep it permanent.

I will confess, the reason I tried it out, was because it was offered for free, which I am sure so many others have done as well. I can see how people would be leary paying for something when they have no idea what exactly they are getting themselves into. When we buy pills whatever form they be in, we know what we are getting and what we are paying for - whereas for this, there is just the whole secrecy over it.

Hey Ginger,
I am not doing the program because I don't want to share my personal information. I ran across this program first and although it caught my eye then, the bottom line was that I was not interested in sending in my pics and info. I know that he has relented on the pic part but still I don't want anyone telling me what I can and can't talk about. His non-disclosure was too much for me.

It is one thing for me to share information on this forum, because I decide how much and what I share. It is completely another thing for me to give this information to some unknown party for them to do 'whatever' with.

It is just my little 'thing'. Yet another one of my 'control issues'. But I am massaging with more vigor here recently and I think it is making a difference.

Good luck with the Grow Yours,
waxingmoon

Where do you mail to sign up for the program? And do you have to give credit card information, or isn't it free anymore?

I am not sure how much longer this process will be offered for free. You will need to contact Joseph directly and ask him, because I think the website now doesn't offer it.
Lactation

Hi everyone,

I just wondered whether herbs would still work whilst you were lactating. I'm currently considering the lactation induced enlargment at www.growyours.com. I realise it could be a bad idea but can see myself trying it anyway. The '1-2inches in 30 days' tempts me alot.

As far as I know, prolactin, estrogen and progesterone all rise during lactation.... would it be harmful to additionally use PM for additional growth for example? Is there any reason why it wouldn't work?

I'd be really grateful for your input.

Do you realize that any growth due to prolactine/lactation is only temporary? When breastfeeding women stop nursing, their breasts go back in size again afterwards, often SMALLER and FLATTER than ever before. Or do you intend to lactate for the rest of your life to keep the growth?

Re: lactation
April 13 2007, 9:34 AM

I have been on this web site before, and even heard from the creator on another messageboard, defending his method after it was questioned by several posters. While it seems like a good thing in theory, in reality, some bad problems could pop up, including:

1) Decreased or irregular menstruation.

2) Infertility problems.

3) Decreased libido.

4) Vaginal dryness.

5) Imbalanced FSH and GnRH hormones.

5) Increased tenderness or pain in breasts.

6) Headaches.

7) Vision problems.

8) Fatigue.

Mind you, we risk our own problems when we use herbs for BE, but in general, many women also experience positive side-effects in addition to bigger breasts, such as stronger nails, thicker hair, reduced acne, lighter periods, etc. The only benefit of lactation (in addition to bigger breasts) is to provide nutrition for one's baby. In this particular case, one does not even get the benefit of oxytocin increased levels because there is no baby to bond with.

Furthermore, lactation-induced breast growth is not permanent. Eventually, it will go away, unless one continues to do the specified techniques for the rest of his or her life. The creator of the web site justified this by stating that since we have to take regular care of our body anyway for maintenance purposes, what is one more thing? However, since we already do enough to maintain our body, I don't think most of us want to add this to the list of everyday bodily chores, in addition to brushing our teeth, hair, showering, eating, etc. Some of us barely have enough time to take our herbs on schedule, or massage everyday, and we are expected to do these techniques forever? I cannot speak for everyone, but it's a big NO for me.

If you are serious about trying the form of NBE, then I would head over to the BeBoard, because they are doing a free study over there - but if I remember I think you can still get the free trial on the grow yours website too. But I do on the BeBoard, they will have monitors of the program, and they also said that they recommend it more for the women who have already had kids, as they get better results. But either way I would head over there and read the posts they have, it gives one a broader perspective.

Thanks for all your suggestions.

Henri - I'll have a look at the Beboard - thanks.

I'm mostly interested in this method, since it increases prolactin - which I have heard increases fat in the breast and decreases it in the bum.

I think you're maybe right about it being a bad idea - do you think it's the heaviness of the milk which makes the breasts sag. Do breast sag after pregnancy regardless of whether you nurse or not.

I have been using the www.growyours.com method for 2 weeks. I have grown 3/4" so far. I have noticed that my skin is a lot clearer, my nails are stronger, many of the things I noticed when I was pregnant. It is working great for me, but it might not be for everyone. I did not know that infertility could be caused by this, but that does not bother me because I had my tubes tied and do not plan to have any more children anyways. My boobs never got very sore, but I have heard that some women's get very sore. Just make sure you do as much research as you can, and decide which path you would rather take. Good Luck!

Thinking Out Loud
April 13 2007, 9:18 PM

I am curious about something - considering all the risk involved, which we face even with methods here:
could one use this method to get results, and then go on a maintenance, add in herbs to make it more permanent? or do both at the same time once you've started to see growth with the program? I'd think for those that have had no luck with herbs or other methods this might be a fix for them, although not without side effects, it does appear to be safer then Plastic Surgery.

I don't want to completely bash something. If I knew that I could use this method, grow to a certain size, before leaking or engorgement because from what I've read that shouldn't happen, start maintenance and then switch to herbs to keep things growing inside but not necesarily outside I would be willing to give it a go. Shoot or even do some maintenance every few days I'd be willing to do it. I mean, we could potentially face maintenance with herbs too.

I want to say that if it's what you want to do I urge you to do it! Don't be afraid of what some posters here have said to discourage it. The side effects they mention are issues that are possible during lactation, but of course nothing permanent. And for some, these side effects never appear. You do need to know that you won't keep the increase if you decide to stop lactation, but as long as you are ok with that and you still want to try it I say bravo to you.

Re: lactation
April 14 2007, 1:33 PM

Was laying awake last night thinking more about this method and some other thoughts popped into my head:

If one is tricking there body to think its pregnant, to change the hormones so the breasts grow - what would happen if you were to stop completely? I mean would you go into the hormonal imbalance you go into with a miscarriage? And the more I think about it lactation with a baby just can't be good for you. There is a reason our bodies produce milk. I was also wondering, maybe its just me, that my breasts weren't as full when I was inbetween nursing times, and actually sagged a little bit, it wasn't the nice fullness that is described. because even though they say you are only getting the effects of between 3-9 months of being pregnant.........it still says something about being complete when you produce milk...... and I don't know about anybody else, but even while nursing and those times being stretched to 3-4 hours apart, if I got stimulated then my milk would come in and I would drip.........

I wonder how much of this method is just heavy massaging and other techniques similar to what we are doing now - just alot more indepth since its a 30-40min method. I still wouldn't mind doing masssage type things to grow while still taking herbs, but I'm concerned in reading that its the lymph nodes growing and nothing else................
I'd still be interested in knowing the method, but would only use it as a massage and for not as long, and not as my permanent NBE process.

I think if you feel comfortable with it then go for it, same as BO and PM, but I don't its a method for me.

Re: lactation
April 14 2007, 3:23 PM

I'm also partly interested in this idea, since women who have been pregnant often respond quicker to NBE. Perhaps if you do the lactation, then you will respond quicker to the herbs afterwards.

Henri - I don't know if the herbs will 'maintain' the growth as such - as you say - it's not typical growth (lobe growth) - Unless that prolactin/fat-increase-in-breast is true. Also, I've never had children - so appreciated hearing of your memories of nursing. I'm pretty clueless.

Beth! Please keep us updated about the growyours.com programme if you don't mind. Congrats on your 3/4"

PS....

I read in an earlier post RE: massaging, that women who began lactating after chi massage used progesterone cream to prevent this. - You probably all already know, but progesterone is high during pregnancy and drops soon after birth allowing the milk to flow. Perhaps this could prevent engorgement to.

re. lactation
April 14 2007, 3:35 PM

i'm not wanting to be negative and have always been willing to try anything as far as nbe is concerned. if this is only heavy massage etc as henri suggests, then i also would not be oppposed.

however, in my experience (i did a lot of massage first, experienced some growth, was very, very happy with my breasts and then for some stupid reason i read something about using suction to enlarge nipples-mine were always fairly small-and so i tried this and got carried away. i created the lactation effect by the strong suction on nipples and the next day realized i had done something horrible to my breasts. they had changed. they were no longer firm and no longer did i have the usual sensations. they no longer swell in the mornings as they used to. i miss this tremendously. also, i seem to have damaged, or weakened, the nipples. they no longer become erect as they used to. also, somehow the areola is damaged as well. it is smaller than before. there isn't much sensation there at all anymore. so i really messed up. anyhow, i became very, very ill, and, not realizing what i had done to myself, went through mastitis first and then breast candida. it took about three months of intense pain and suffering until we managed to get everything sorted out. once i took the medicine to deal with the candida it started to get better. however, since this episode, i struggle constantly with yeast infections. i have also been much drier vaginally since then. i think my estogen levels took a dip and still haven't righted themselves. it's been been over half a year now. in short, it really threw me off hormonally. i am not making this up. it has been a terrible episode in my life and the horrible thing is, it is permanent. every morning i wake up feeling totally depressed about it all.

this whole experience has caused me to realize how fortunate i was to have the breasts i had even though they were so pathetically small. at least they were firm and perky and gave me a lot of sexual pleasure. now they are weird and saggy and don't have much sensation at all. if i had given birth and nursed my child, i would not feel so broken-hearted. at least it would have all have been worth it, if you know what i mean. (even so, i understand how women must grieve for their former breasts, having nursed)

forgive me for being so long-winded. i just want to make women realize that we are all beautiful the way we are and the best thing to do (which i learned too late) is to appreciate and love our bodies the way they are.there is nothing wrong with small breasts! if only i had been content... now i look at young women with small vigin breasts with great envy.
if only i hadn't messed up mine!

so, please be careful. for me the effects will, sadly, be permanent. for this reason i worry about this method. but as i stated earlier, i haven't read the method (i have become paranoid).

i still do not think it is a good idea. please women, be safe, be careful. love your bodies the way the are.

This is interesting. I looked at the website and signed up to receive the information and try the program for free. At this point, it seems like that's what they are offering to everyone, so if you're curious give it a shot. I don't want to divulge the details of what their program is, you can find it out for free yourself just like I did and then make your own determination. I will say that their goal is to bring your breasts to the stage they were during pregnancy where they enlarged in preparation for lactating, but didn't necessarily lactate. What their program consists of is equal to the amount of effort some people on NBE put into their massage portion of their program. I am willing to give it a shot and see what happens. It doesn't appear that they are putting you into a full-on lactation state. I think any leakage is possible with some women but not intended.

Oh my gosh Beth that's wonderful! Congrats! I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with me. I was pretty sore after starting yesterday. But I must say that the "process" was actually not uncomfortable. As far as you can tell so far they aren't trying to get you to be actually lactating, is that correct? I know the "instructions" seem like they will change weekly on what they want you to do. I can only view the instructions for the first week so far, I guess as I progress the weekly instructions will update automatically. Cool! :-)

Lisa, from my understanding, they want to bring you to right before you start to lactate. I have not lactated at ALL yet, so I will keep my fingers crossed. As far as the weekly routines, I think how much progress you have made determines how quickly you have moved through the program. I think once you get 1/2" and feel some lobes, they move you to the next week of the program, but I may be wrong.

Re: lactation
April 16 2007, 6:08 PM

Thanks, I will. Oh, and anonymous in answer to your initial question, yes, herbs will still work while lactating. If you were breast-feeding a child I'd advise against more than just mother's milk tea-type strengths of herbs because they are passed on in the breast milk to the baby. But if you're talking about lactating for breast enlargement, it's fine. I'm not sure though with this process if they are necessarily going to bring you to a full lactation state. There are a few mixed messages in the web-site, some say the goal is for the breasts to be as in the pregnancy state where they enlarge in preparation for milk making, but where you aren't having leakage and what-not, and then on other parts it talks about the health benefits of lactating. I will just see how it goes, I do agree with the "massage" techniques they are promoting to start the process. If anything, one could take the parts of the program that they feel might be beneficial to NBE and just not necessarily take it to the point of possible lactation, which is what I'm thinking of for myself. Lactating would be a mess at this point in life, but the precursor stuff could help the enlargement process. I'll keep updating on my personal program page (titled "it's hard to know what to try").

Hi

Lisa - thanks for answering the initial question! That was the answer I was hoping for. Do you have children by the way - just wondering whether you had a head start after being pregnant. I wrote to Joseph (organiser of growyours) and he said that perhaps 1-1.5 inches is the most you can hope for if you've not had children - although, he's not sure and it could be more.

Beth - has the growyours programme made your nipples darker?

My plan is to do the lactation, but use PM cream to lighten the nipples if they do go really dark.

Re: lactation

Hi LX!
Yes, I have 5 children from age 6 up to age 20, so I may respond well to the grow yours program. Have you started it yet? It's my third day and I'm sore. But that seems normal with the type of massaging going on where you're really targeting every point in the breasts. I wish the grow yours program allowed us to see the future stages of the program. I'm in the first week so it will only show first week instructions of course. Beth, does it change much from week to week? Do you know does it get to a stage where you're actively lactating? Or is that an optional thing? It's been my understanding on the subject of making yourself lactate that it takes a steady and scheduled amount of nipple stimulation and that's mostly it. So, with the other massaging techniques we're using I'm hoping it's meant to do something different to the breasts without having to end up lactating. Not that I'm against lactating, it's just that I don't think that's what I'm after with the maintenance of pumping and what-not that would probably be involved. But gosh, even for an inch and a half gain LX if you haven't had children, that along with what the herbs can do may be great for you. For me, I'm wondering if it could push me over into a full C cup. Beth, let us know how it's going for you with the actual program since you're further ahead into it than us. :-)

Re: lactation
April 17 2007, 4:50 PM

Hey Lisa! We should start a growyours forum.Smile My nipples have become a little darker, but I do not think that happens with everyone. I think you can basically expect the same changes you did when you were pregnant (darker nipples, bigger nipples, etc.) I think if you have many children and/or you were pregnant recently you respond a lot quicker than others. I had a baby 6 months ago, so I think that is why I responded so quickly. I never even became sore, but I think that I am weirdWink. Anyways, I think if you experience any lactation, it will only be a few drops every once in a while. I do not think that you go into full lactation. I am still pretty new to this as well, so I am just going by what I have learned so far in my own experience, I may be wrong. I do not mind answering questions at all, I am excited to be able to share my progress. I just want everyone to know that I may not be correct in everything I tell you, the best person for that would be Joseph. As far as the program changes go, without giving out too much info, you use the same basic excercises, just in different time increments. I am on week 2, eventhough in theory, I should be on week 3. However, if your breast growth is not equal (for ex. your 3 inch above nipple growth is not at the same rate as your across nipple growth, like mine is) you will not move onto the next week until everything is equal. I think that is a great idea and I am glad that Joseph put that much thought into his program because who wants to be huge across your nipples, but small everywhere else YKWIM? I think that I answered all your questions. If I didn't, please let me know. Oh BTW, as far as I know, maintanance consists of doing massages anywhere from once a day to every 2 or 3 days depending on your body. I have not heard anything about having to pump or any of that. They are not wanting you to go into full lactation. Lisa, if you want, let me know and I will give you my email so we can discuss this without having to worry about confidentiality.

Re: lactation

Hi Henri,
I'll try to answer. The "massaging" part of the program in my opinion could be benificial to NBE. So many people here say how vital massage is, and I had gotten to the point where I wasn't massaging any at all, only a few minutes just to get my oils or creams soaked in. But to do the grow yours program you do have to spend about half an hour twice a day doing their specific massage techniques. So at least now I am doing that step that helps with NBE. There's another component to the program involving the nipples which I'm trying to figure out whether or not it is intended for the actual lactation part of the process, which I may not be interested in. I was under the impression that to lactate you do need to do nipple stimulation several times a day for long periods of time, and so far that's not what the program does. In my opinion, and I could be wrong, but I don't think actual milk production and leakage would be an issue unless one is concentrating on the amount of nipple stimulation it would take to begin to actually lactate. Again, I could be wrong! But I'm taking it a step at a time and if it gets to the point where I'm uncomfortable with anything I will not go any further. I'm already having some soreness and a slight burning feeling in my breasts from the massages, so I think they are of benefit in some way. If anything I would continue them and not go further if I get worried about any leaking issues.

Hi Beth! I don't have messenger, but is it alright to email you at that email address with my questions? Maybe what's happening with your posts sometimes is that if you're not logged in the post doesn't go on right away, the moderator has to screen it first. It'll go up eventually usually.
I will keep my personal program page updated with how I'm doing with grow yours. I'm still doing my regular program along with it too.

Thanks Lisa and Beth. I will update here as well.

I figured if someone was going to offer me the opportunity to grow breasts naturally and for free, what have I got to lose? The only time in my life that I had breasts I was happy with was when I was preggers. They were gorgeous and I would so love to see those girls again.

Betty- I know how you feel. Too bad they were hard to nitice with the big belly. It looks like this is really working for everyone, I know it is for me. Betty, I am sending you big boobie vibesWink.

Anonymous- Just fill out the information for that trial. I believe it is the same one. Joseph said that we did not need to send pictures. He will want you to post updates on your progress (good or bad) on message boards you use though, just so that other women can hear about your experience. he is very confident that it will be a good one, that is why he is offering it. He does tell you to take pictures, but for your own reference, so you can see the before and after, not for his use. You do not have to send them to him at all. If you still have problems, I would send Joseph an email. Are all of you girls on this board in the UK? I am in the US.

Hi, Beth & Lisa & Betty:

I'm very glad to know there're many of you trying this program.

I'm on the 7th day, boobies are slightly fuller and heavier however not so sore like the 1st 2 days, though.

BTW, Beth, for 3 days I didn't have any current instruction, wondering why?! I emailed to Joseph but he didn't answer me yet...Do you happen to know what's the reason?!

Many thanks for your help in advance.

Re: lactation
April 18 2007, 6:17 PM

Fujiapple-- I am not sure why that is. I have not had that problem. I know you said that you are on your 7th day, but if I were you, I would continue with your current excercises for the moment. If you have experienced growth and/or changes in lobe size, you will probably be moved up to week 2, but probably not until then. You are completing your daily questions and measurements right? If you do not, then the program will not move you up to the next week. I know that last time I talked to Joseph, he had 2 deaths in the family, so that may be why it is hard to get ahold of him right now. Hope this helps!

Ladies,
I forgot to mention this earlier, but I have been sleeping on a heating pad set on low every night since I started this program. I do not know if it helps, but with 1 1/4" growth in 17 days, I know it isn't hurting. Happy growing!!

I don't think its on trial anymore. I thought I read over on the BeBoard that it was in the process of being switched over to payment - you migh try e-mail joseph at the address he lists over there and seeing if you can still try out. I would think that pretty soon he won't be offering at all anymore, he had originally posted only about 20 girls or so if I remember correctly.

I will confess being a critic of this method, I broke down and signed up for it the other night..........I figured it was free, and worst that happened is that it didn't work right? well that I start producing milk :-) No changes yesterday which was day 2, today is day 3 and they feel bigger and firmer, but I haven't measured yet - will do that as soon as DH leaves for work...............I am also gradually working up to the time frame recommended, my hands start to hurt after a while........ONe question, do your boobs hurt? mine are very very sore and painful - and under the arms aren't too hot either. Being a stomach sleeper, sleep last night was almost impossible.

Heres to these kinds of boobs!!! ( o Y o ) thanks for the icons Faery!!!

Betty,
You might not be accessing the instructions correctly, because they should be there for you if you've entered your measurements. Click on the video instruction tab. If that's not working email Joseph.
Henri,
Welcome! I've gotta say that I really noticed a big difference on my fourth day. Today is my fifth day. I have already grown over half an inch in the upper portion (above nips). Yippee! The measurement at the nips is starting to grow now too. This really does work. I was/am very sore, so that's normal. I even feel a burning sensation in them sometimes. The soreness is supposed to pass, just keep at it. I agree, the worst that can happen is we decide at some point it's not for us, and we back off. As long as this can be maintained though and we remain comfortable with it, how great that we can do it! :-)

Re: lactation
April 19 2007, 4:18 PM

No problem I'm glad it's working!

Here's a thought.....some of the massaging that people here are doing is stimulating the "lobes" just like what we are doing acomplishes. For some who swear that their massage portion of their program is very important and is helping them grow, they are unknowingly doing the same type of thing we are doing. Even though ours is a bit different, the idea behind what the massaging does (stimulate the lobes for growth) is essentially the same. Do you think?

April 19 2007, 5:25 PM

Hi, all:

Today is my 8th day on program, I DID receive the same message as Betty's received: currently you don't have instruction. Then I emailed Joseph that he told me actually he has no idea why came out that message (I DO input all daily measurement...)Anyways, I continue the same exercises like previous days.

I found there's few lumps in both of my boobies and these 2 days more soreness under my armpits. I think it's normal and a good sign during this process. Henri, don't you worry!!! :-)

I agree w/Lisa, the massage (like CHI...)should promote prolactin level like growyours however growyours process even deeper and thru out all boobies, I think.

Happy boobie growing

Hi, Lisa:

Just viewed your personal program page and found out you're still taking single herbs while doing growyours, I don't think it's a good idea: 1) If you grow, you have no idea which one promotes the growth. 2) If you don't grow, probably will blame Joseph. (hahaha...)

I was quitting any internal herbs(I was taking PM be4), only taking 1 Multi-V and 1000 mg of Borage oil be4 bed but using PM cream and soap externally.

Please read Joseph post @ BE Board, regarding taking other herbs
along w/his program:

Hi Fugiapple,
I took a look at it but didn't see where he actually said that we shouldn't take any herbs or anything else while using his program. I understand what you're saying, as far as not knowing what the growth was from if you grew and did both methods. For me though, I have grown while on my herbs for the past three months and I can tell that the growth I'm having now is indeed different and is from the growyours plan. But you do bring up a good point. Maybe I'll use this new program as a chance to take a break from the herbs and see what happens. :-)

I just wondered whether after breast feeding:

- do your nipples lose sensitivity (sexual pleasure - don't response and become erect)
- do they stay a dark colour - or return to the original colour.

Well ladies..I am here to tell you that Joseph warns everyone about your growth slowing down in the 3rd week or so because of not doing massages as aggresively as in the begining. That has happened to me. I have kept the growth so far, but I have not grown anymore. I know it is my fault. I have not been massaging as aggresively the past 4 or 5 days, so I am going to get back with the program full force. Take it from me, keep doing the massages aggresively, even when you are tired. I will post again when I get some more growth. Hopefully, in the next few days. Happy growing!

Sarabell,
There was another lady on here that said she was doing the massages in her car. I am not sure if it was here, or on the BE Board, but she may be able to answer your question better. You only need one hand at a time to do the massages, so as long as you do not mind people seeing you feel yourself up LOL, and you have a long drive I am not sure why you wouldn't be able to. Unless, you wear a padded or thick bra because you have to make sure you make aggressive contact with the breast tissue.
On another note, am I the only one here who has experienced beautifully clear skin and great hair! I noticed this about 1 week after starting. After doing my massages yeterday, I have gained about an 1/8". That proves to me that if I stay really determined, I can continue to grow very quickly. So I am up about 1.36" approximately. Happy growing!

My Update
April 21 2007, 8:17 PM

Well somethings happened a few days ago so I didn't get to massage quite like I had been, so for three days my massages were hit or miss, but I was able to start them back up today so we shall see how things go.

I am feeling some tenderness now instead of pain and I think I feel some lumps - so from what I read, I am right on track - haven't measured since Wed. so I will be measuring tonight after I shower and marking them down - don't think I have grown so if I have great - if not then I'll just keep trying. I really think those few days made a big difference on how far along I am.

Re: lactation
April 21 2007, 11:15 PM

Here's why I said I don't think you could do them in the car while driving. For one, driving takes both hands and your full attention. But for technical reasons, I can say that for one when I do my "massages" for the program I have to use oil, so if you are like me there would be the issue of oil and the bra and the clothes. Also, using this method there is a "grid" that you follow so that you get each portion of the breast and I either do this facing a mirror so I stay in line or if not I look down several times to make sure I'm not veering off course. I don't see how you could accomplish this detail while driving. I get up a half hour early to do my first round and do my last round before bed, so most people should be able to fit that into their schedule whatever it may be. It's really working for me! :-)

Hi, Skyler:

I was using Fengshui (or Tiger Lily) massage method be4, so I can tell you what's the difference: the 1st method (whether using your whole hand or knuckles) the strength only to help better blood circulation; while growyours (there're 6 levels depends on how you grow...)not only helping your blood circulation but also well-massaging your each lobes (that's why you need at least 42 mins for each time; that's why you can't drive while massaging... hahaha!)

Question
April 23 2007, 11:39 AM

Do any of your girls feel a "let down" feeling a few hours after a massage? I'll massage in the morning and by lunch I feel like my milk is coming in. And then by evening when I take my bra off for the night I feel slightly engorged even though there isn't really any difference in my boobs.

Well I don't know about you ladies, but holy crap my wrists and forearms are as sore as my boobs! lol It is a good sore, but still very sore.

I feel heavier after four days of consistent massaging. I also feel sore like I did in the early days of pregnancy. I think this is going to do it girls! I really believe that in 30 days we will all be so pleased with our progress.

Question: Have any of you found it harder to apply enough pressure in your evening massage because you are still so sore from the morning one? I had a hard time last night because I was really sore. I still did the full massage, but prob not as hard as I did the morning massage. Do you just keep applying as much pressure as possible?

Cheers to you all!

Re: lactation
April 23 2007, 4:16 PM

Henri,
I sometimes feel that feeling that I think you could describe as engorgement, like where you feel like you did when it was "time" for the baby to nurse and it would give you some relief finally. When I actually do the massages though, I then feel relief. It's weird, because there's nothing there! I do feel tender most of the time. I feel the lobes are enlarging now, so that's a good sign.
Betty,
My hands, wrists, arms don't really get sore. Are you following the technique the video shows as far as how you hold your hand and just use the tips of 2 or 3 fingers to push in as you do your rotations? Sometimes during the rotations on one side that arm will get a little tired and I'll switch arms for a minute and then switch back again, but nothing serious. And I'm applying steady pressure, but not so hard that it actually "hurts" a lot, it's just sore/tender. Be careful! We don't want you getting injured!
I'm ready for my second week's instructions but don't seem to have them yet. I don't know if it automatically updates or if it has to be manually put in by Joseph or how it works, but I'm eager to see if I have to change anything.
I'm so glad this is working! :-)

I'm just happy that I can actually feel the lobes and I am still amazed! lol I've only been doing the evening massages since I really can't find the time in the morning. But yeah, my arms feel more "sore" than my breasts sometimes.

I've never been pregnant but I'm curious about one thing though. Does anyone of you feel as if your breasts feel like one big lump? I mean if you cup your breast it kinda feels "hard" I don't know if that is supposed to be "rubbery" but it does feel like that.

I'm skipping the nipple massages though I'm afraid of too much stimulation there. lol

My boobs felt like that in the begining as well. I was worried about hubby thinking that they felt weird (hope that isn't TMI), but he hasent noticed anything other than that they are bigger and fullerSmile.

I have gained about 1.4" so far and I have been on the program about 22 days so far I think. I have noticed that the past few days, my boobs are MUCH fuller eventhough I have not gained in measurements. I can say that now I LOVE THE WAY MY BOOBS LOOK! lol I just want to get them about 1 cup bigger (hoping that is possible), and then I will completely love them.

Hi Lisa,

I believe that in order to get your week 2 instructions, you have to go input your measurements in the daily questions area. I measured incorrectly across the breasts initially (too tight according to the video instructions) and I noticed when I input the correct measurement which was 2 inches bigger, I automatically got the week 2 instructions. I haven't had that much growth as of yet as I am only on day 5 of the program, I just learned how to measure correctly. It looks like once you have started with your gains you will be moved on accordingly. I am most certainly feeling lobes though so I am going to continue with the Week 1 massages for at least 4 or 5 more days before I move on to week 2.

Sometimes when I am doing the figertip massage part of the process, my writs and forearms get really tired, it is ok to use your knuckles for a few minutes to rest your fingers, or will the knuckles apply too much pressure or the wrong kind or pressure?

Betty

Re: lactation

I think it's ok to use the knuckles for a minute for a break, just don't push too hard. The fingertip idea is probably because you can actually "feel" the lobes that way.
I have put all my measurements in daily and I've gained an inch now but no new directions are coming up for me, and Joseph hasn't answered my email yet. I'm a little frustrated! I mismeasured on my initial measurements, I think many people make that mistake. I guess they are trying to work all the bugs out though. Does week 2 change instruction signifficantly? I'm ready if so but haven't been able to access it.

Yes Lisa that is what is happening to me. They feel engorged but as soon as I massage them, the feeling goes away. I am not engorged because to touch them they don't even feel hard like when I really was engorged but they ache like they are...........its getting to the point that they are aching all day now and I have to move them around a bit else they are a little uncomfortable. I am measuring again tonight. Seems like I have gained about 1/4 inch so far in really 4day of actual massaging, so thats cool. But my lobes aren't huge feeling - infact sometimes I am not sure if I am feeling them or not, and I seem to have more on my left side then my right - wonder if thats why my left side has always been bigger? Anyway just wanted to post that my boobs are almost even now!!!! WOOHOO.

My fingers get sore, and today noticed some bruising so I think I pushed too hard last night, but I found that switching inbetween techniques makes a huge difference.....

So much info in this thread, I have not read everything yet, but I am extremely interested in this method. I will keep informing myself for now, but later I might try it. It sounds very promising. Some methods of NBE seem at least as risky, like bovine ovary. But I think that once you inform yourself, study well the available empyrical evidence, it might show it's not so scary.

Hi Fujiapple! It's so frustrating if it's something he can't fix!
Henri,
I think we feel this feeling because we're familiar with it from breastfeeding, except back then it would just keep filling up and filling up until it was ready to burst, lol. Maybe now it'll just feel full but be relieved with a massage. I'll gladly put up with it!
Betty,
Thank you so much, I'd love it if you could email me what to do. Yes, since we're both on it and I'm just having a glitch because I mis-measured the first day I'm sure it's fine. My email is lilmama2007@cox.net

Hi Lisa,

I just sent off an email to you.

Moon: Personally this is the least scary of all of the methods for me. You are not putting anything in or on your body. It is simply targeted massage techniques that so far seem more natural than any of the other things I have tried. If you can still get in on the free trial study, I would highly recommend it!

I am not really familar with this, although I have breastfeed three babies. I guess my question is, what stops you from leaking, like you do when you are actually nursing, I remember those wet spots coming through my bra and shirts and it was quite embarrasing. Are you actually producing milk with this process? and if you do have liguid in your breast how do you have sex without leaking again? And also isn''t everyone afraid of getting carpel tunnel in wrists and worst shoulder injuries? Really I am not trying to be sarcastic, I seriously want to know. And also how long do you think you can physically continue with rigourous massage? I hope someone takes the time to explain everything to me. THanks girls.

Re: lactation
April 23 2007, 10:43 PM

Snowflake,
Good questions! I'm only a week into it so I don't have all the answers, but basically this program doesn't actually take you to full lactation. It puts your breasts into a state simulating pregnancy when they "prepared" for lactation. But without a demand to actually produce milk and continue a process of producing milk, emptying the breasts of the milk, and making new milk to be emptied again, there's not actually lactation happening. It's all about supply and demand when it comes to milk, so since there's not a demand persay, like with nursing a baby, it's not continually being replenished so there's no leaking. It's difficult to explain because we're not supposed to divulge the details of the process, and that's why the questions are sometimes not easy to answer in detail. I'm not having any issues with my hands or wrists or shoulders or anything, and actually the more you do this twice a day the easier it becomes and the faster it can be acomplished and I actually try to throw a third round in on the days that I can just to speed my results up. I really do promote the validity of this method, especially if one wants to take a cleansing break from herbs or from BO or whatever they may be on. I'd rather maintain this than maintain pills for the rest of my life. I hope that helped some! :-)

Hi, Snowflake:

Be4 answering your questions, I have to admit that I had the same concerns as yours when I first read this method about a year ago (both here & BE Board), and I was against this method if you happened to read one thread posted in Feb.07.:-)

After I re-read these old threads as well as current one @ BE Board, I have better idea and understanding to this concept then I joined the free trial which Joseph offers, specially I've been on BE journey since 2002, I can tell which BE routine more suitable for me and working: commercial pills not working at all; PM serum only gave me some lifting; single herbs made me gaining weight all over the body (yap, including my boobies!); most recent I tried PM pills and had really bad side effects.

And I wonder & wonder why not give growyours a try? I don't mind to spend 2 hrs on BE massage( even thereafter...)That's the time I TAKE SERIOUSLY to read every info on growyours website. Here is what I learned from Growyours; ladies please correct me if I'm wrong:

1) The essential exercises (or massage)from growyours to help you to reach the PREGNANCY STAGE not actually producing milk however possible drops happened when you massage.

2) Absoutly it ain't sexy when seeing(or sucking...) leaking while making out! lol I can tell you so far so good, no leaking happens.

3) Yap, when you first do this exercise is kind of sore but it's not really finger injury! hahaha.. I can recall when I first tried the CHI massage for 100 rotations and my arm seemed not mine but gradually I get use

Thats great.. but I dont understand how it is a good thing since you are only growing because you are producing milk. It is definately not permanent, in fact you will most probably end up smaller and flatter than before.. what is your long term plan?

Sun

Re: Grow Yours
April 23 2007, 3:48 AM

I'm actually not producing milk.

I breastfed all three of my children each over 2 years, so I'm well aware of what lactation brings about-- pros and cons.

I'm still following my BO program, as permanent results are certainly desireable. I think what's been most valuable is the massage techinque itself, there is a lot to learn from it whether one chooses to follow the complete program or not.

Probably for me, I'll end up with some hybrid program, whatever seems to work best-- which does seem to be what most women end up doing anyway as we're all so different. This has been interesting enough for me to pursue for seven days, we'll see what else happens.

I'm curious about the hormonal responses building up prolactin will bring-- seems that even in a temporary mode, having more prolactin running around would support growth (permanent, hopefully) from whatever other NBE supplements we're taking.

In what way would prolactin support permanent growth?
Most women totally deflate after nursing.

Hi Sun, glad the grow yours is working for you so far. Everyone here says massage is necessary for growth due to the production of prolactin, so maybe it will help with your other program in some way. You mentioned a modified growyours routine, are you doing the full routine at this time to gain the results you've had so far? -- Sissy

Re: Grow Yours

Prolactin increases LPL in the breasts, and decreases it in the bum - LPL causes more fat to be deposited. (so I've read a couple of times)
1.5" in a week wow - that's great Sun. I'm doing grow yours too - but don't expect such great results as I've never had kids. I'm doing the same as you - a hybrid thing.

Just wondered - do nipples get darker/bigger when you begin to breastfeed - or is does it happen before you have the child (during preganancy)?

Good luck!

Sas,
Most women experience darker nipples during pregnancy. I'm not sure the exact cause (is it because of high progesterone levels, not sure)of that. After/during breastfeeding the nipples get lighter because of the baby feeding. As I have never bottle fed for the first few months of my children's lives I dont know how it is when women bottle feed right after delivery. I'm sure eventually it goes back to the usual color.

Hi there,
Have just signed up for trial.......gulp have to make time with 2 kids under 2.5......but gulp just dont want to spend another summer at current size...
Now, reading your posts it seems many entered incorrect measurments to begin with....but you cant view 'measuring video' before entering initial stats soooooooooooooo what did you do wrong? When they ask for 'chest size' did you put in chest rib below breasts or breast across nipples.
Thankyou in advance, very keen to get started!

How many of you still have sore boobs? I keep hearing that mine should taper off and not be quite as sore in a few more days - just a few more days, but they seem to be getting more intense then anything - is this normal? I am thrilled to see progress so its worth it at this point - but at the end of the day when I take my bra off they hurt bad, the opposite of what I would expect, massaging does help, but sometimes I take my bra off before I am ready to massage, so I have to make extra time. Anyone else experiecing this?

Hi Spunkymum,

The mistake I made was measuring too tight accross the nipples. Basically the largest part of your chest. Your nipples should not be flattened at all when you are doing this measurement. It turned out to be a 2inch difference.

Hey Ginger
April 25 2007, 1:35 PM

Hey Ginger - Congrats on sending the questions - I hope that if you are going to give this a go, you can still get it for free - I think its going to be $170 for three months if not.

To Answer your questions
#1 - can't say for sure its the ONE, but it is nice to finally see some boobs growing and with very little effort :-) I wake up now and its like wow!!! Its exciting.

#2 - I am very happy so far with my progress - a whole inch in a week!!!! And my boobs aren't getting mushy or saggy or anything like they had with other massages - they are actually getting more firm and round and lifted!!!! The down side is my nips are getting slightly bigger and darker, but its not disgusting.

#3 - As for fitting it in, like I posted earlier I do mine while watching a movie or laying in bed at night since it takes me a while to drift. And in the morning I probably don't get a full 30-45mins in, more like 15-20. But yes you can fit in, it might be hard at first, and your fingers will need to adjust, but once you get into the routine and its not a big deal.

#4 - This is not the most growth - I have grown 2inches in the past few months, but this now makes 3inches - and 1 inch in a week, and I am still growing!!!

#5 - Still using the Vitex, and still taking some herbs, only because the vitex is helping my period and the herbs I am still hoping for some growth from them, plus I have them.....

#6 - I would recommend it, especially since its free, and then you can decide on whether or not you like it. Also remember that I have had kids and they say it takes a week or so longer for women that don't have kids to respond - but yes give it a go if you want to.

Sorry for such a long post - really excited about this program........

I am very dedicated to following through for the full 30 days to see how far I can get. I would be ecstatic with a C cup, but I don't think I want any bigger than that, my frame is too small for boobs that big.

Chocogirl - I am not sending pics in at all. I don't have a polaroid either. But Joseph said it was optional. Some photos from girls would be nice to post, but again it was optional. He does recommend taking photos for yourself, and I still regret not being able to take any to see my growth - but I know they look different and feel different then they did last year at this time :-) Check again, because you still might be able to do the free trial - just fill in the info and Jospeh will get back to you. He is usually pretty good at getting back within a few hours of sending it. He answeres all my questions in a timely manner.

Well I really think my growth depends on what time of day. At night I measure 1/4 inch bigger then I do in the morning. So at nights its an inch increase in the am its 3/4 inch increase!!!! Hey at least they are moving up the tape measure and not down!!!

I still need to ask Lisa or Betty or Beth a question about the massage part........so if you can e-mail me at: henrietta.hip@gmail.com , I'd really appreciate it.

This is very tempting for me to try since no program has worked for me yet and you don't have to spend a bunch of money on pills and creams. But from what I have read, the increase is only due to milk supply and you have to keep up the maintenance program for growth. I also don't like the fact of leaking milk every day and possibly having a wet shirt! I want some real fat growth, but if this is my last chance for growth, I seriously might consider it as desperate as I am getting.

Hey Beth I have a question for you since you have done this the longest: Are your breast hard and sore? Mine aren't getting saggy or mushy or rubbery, they are turning very firm and tender, and have these hard spots throughout them. They for the most part aren't sore, unless its time for a massage and then when my kids hug me its all I can do not to pull away and tense up.............
just wondering if the hard spots could be the bigger lobes, and if others have experienced this level of tenderness. Oh, the hard spots aren't like rocks, they can be shifted, and like I said they are only really painful if its close to another massage - just wanted to clarify that again........... I am not concerned or in a panic, but Joseph says the soreness will go away, but it doesn't seem like it, was wondering if you have gone through anything similar. These symptoms really only started last night and are still present today..............really just need some advice.

I posted my e-mail a little further up so you can e-mail me privately if you want: here it is again so you don't have to scroll up to look: henrietta.hip@gmail.com

I e-mailed this and my massage question to Lisa, and my massage question to Betty too, and have gotten an answer on that.

Question about initial mesurements
April 26 2007, 12:27 PM

I just signed up for the trial, and i'm inputting the initial data.

It asks for waist size, then 'chest' size, then cup size.
Is the CHEST size measurement BELOW my breasts, or at the fullest part?

Thanks!

*much luck and love for all!*

Hi Riona,

It is the largest area of the chest, across the nipples. Be careful not to measure to tight as your measurement will be inaccurate. It should be loose enough that your nipples are not flattened at all.

Best of luck to you!

Betty,
Those hard spots are lobes. I have the same thing. My breast have become firmer and perkier. I did not go through the tenderness or soreness, but I am told that is completely normal. My breasts never became sore with any of my 3 pregnancies so I think that is why they did not become sore this time either. YOu will feel those bumps getting bigger. I have several that are large grape size, but only I can tell. Hubby can not tell a difference in the feel of them, but definitely the size. I have also experienced healthier hair, clearer skin, and increased thirst. I know there are also a lot of questions about maintanance as well and things got very hectic in my life a couple days ago, and I went 2 days without massaging, BUT I KEPT ALL OF MY GROWTH!! Which tells me that when I get to the size I want to be, I should only have to massage once every 2 or 3 days or so. This program is VERy exciting and I feel lucky to have found it. I will do a massage every 2 or 3 days to keep 2.5" growth (that is if I do not grow anymore, which I am sure I will), and you will not hear the first complaint. Smile Happy growing!

I'm on my second day of massaging. I don't see any difference or feel any fuller, but I'm definitely sore. I've been trying various things for NBE for well over a year. I view this as a more intense way of massaging. If I can get some results from this and not have to take anything internal, that will be great. Taking things internally causes weight gain, and I'm hoping to avoid that.

wow... this program sounds very interesting, i'm thinking of giving it a go, but is it just temporary ? same as when you're pregnant? anyway, could probably give it a try and at least have bigger boobs for the summer, but am a bit worried that my boobs might shrink even more if i stop? also, as someone already asked, how do you get the free trial, i can only find link to purchase the program? thanks

Hi Mark,

Here is the link to apply for the free trial if you are interested.
http://www.growyours.com/index.php

It is my understanding that once you have acheived the growth you desire you only have to do intermittent massages to keep the growth. Say twice a week as opposed to twice a day. This is a small sacrifice in my opinion.

Wishing you all the breast luck! :o)

I've started my first day on Grow Yours, figured if its free its at least a jump start the my NBE routine. I've been producing colostrum anyway ever since giving birth to my daughter 8 years ago a tiny bit more discharge/milk would be worth it for some growth. It doesn't apear you will actually be leaking that much and there should be no sagging from this it can only help esp using a booby batter.

April 26 2007, 5:16 PM

Hi, all:

Welcome all new users as well as the old ones. :-)

Today is my 16th day, on week 3: my growth, compared to Beth , Lisa or Sun is very slow even though I had breastfed be4 however my 1/2 inch is still there!

A lot of girls concern about whether this process is temperory thing or forever since your growth mainly enlarging your lobes: I don't mind to do maintanence 2 or 3 times a week and I believe it's healthy to keep some possible fluid in your boobies. My mother-in-law had nursed 9 children (they're 2 or 3 years apart...)and all her life never or seldom on period, she gave her last birth @ 40, now she's 70 and pretty healthy!!!

BTW, I'm not only gaining 1/2 inch but also losing some weight, too: specially my arms, another benefit on growyours.

Happy Boobie Growing

I am currently on day 7 of the program and have gained 1/2 inch, but the best part so far in my opinion is that my little bobbies have lifted an entire inch and a 1/2!! They look so much nicer all perked up even if they are still little. I am so pleased it can only get better from here. At the very least I have learned how to manipulate them to get them sitting higher! Woooooo

What I wonder...
April 26 2007, 11:48 PM

Is how many of us have "Inadvertently" been doing this in our programs??? I remember in the beginning when i was massaging a lot, and vigorously, not lightly, I experienced fullness quick. I should mention that I am still on the "tail end" of breastfeeding...I still seem to have colostrum in my breasts even after 2 years of not nursing but I never, ever leak. It only comes out with a good strong nipple squeeze...sorry if that is TMI...

I started this program as a supplement to mine yesterday.
I am already experiencing soreness...and feelings in the breast like I did when my boobs got bigger in pregnancy, but I still wasn't "showing" in the belly. For me, that was always the happiest time in my life. Breasts and a flat stomach! LOL! Also, hormonally I felt very balanced and happy. I hope that is a 'side effect" of this program for me.

And, MyJourney, I agree that when i first began NBE i had a similar feeling from massaging a lot. I don't feel this is very diff. but i am only on week 1, so i don't know. But I believe and understand that the progress will be a bit slower for those not been pregnant before. I, included. Work has been crazy lately so I was only able to do the massages every night and missed an entire day.

I have "grown" 1/2 in 5 days only because of a wrong measurement. AND not because the program isn't working for me, but because I have only been massaging once a day instead of twice. Commitment is the most important thing in this program for it to work.

Happy growing to all Smile

Never been pregnant ladies
April 27 2007, 11:52 AM

Hi,

I've contacted Joseph RE: result for those who've never been pregnant.... he said the maximum increase he heard of is 1.5 inches in 2 months. He has no records of increaes beyond that timeframe - so possibly more is possible if you carry on.

The programme also says that never=been-pregnant-ladies results BEGIN a week or two later - so maybe if we carry on past 2 months we'll get as good results.

Plus, I suppose herbs will still work while using this method.

Good luck everyone!!!

I've had no leaking or anything like that. I've found that I've gotten used to taking the time twice a day to do the massages and it's no big deal.

Re: GROW YOURS PROGRESS.....
April 27 2007, 6:48 PM

Hi everyone, I should get back here more often, I can't believe how many people are doing this program now.

I've had a lot of e-mails from people who saw my post about continuing my BB program while doing Grow Yours.

Just wanted to post here what I've been saying in the e-mails. To me GY is a massage technique, a very effective one for women who've been pregnant. So I am continuing my other program but have adopted the GY massages and I'm very happy so far.

Joseph posted something on the BE Board about this and it's a valid point-- If you're doing more than one technique how will you know what's causing the growth? Certainly something to consider.

For me, I know what's causing the growth, 1.5 inches in 7 days was definitely GY! My plan at this point is to get to the size I'd like to be with GY then stay on maintenance and slowly work those down over the months as (hopefully) my BB program starts to take effect. If I feel like BB isn't working after my six month commitment, I'll probably try PM or back to herbs but plan to do the same-- keep the size from GY and work to find an internal supplement that'll maintain growth for me in the long run.

I honestly think GY can compliment whatever else anyone is doing. It's a solid massage technique that can work *with* something else.

Hope some of this makes sense. I'm glad there are so many people trying this out, it'll help us all inform our programs.

Probably one of the biggest questions I can't answer is how someone who's never had babies will do-- I hope one of you gives this a go so we can see if Joseph's info is correct, I suspect it is, probably not such dramatic results.

~Sun

Re: GROW YOURS PROGRESS.....
April 27 2007, 7:15 PM

Hi Sun!
I very much agree with you. I'm taking a little herb break right now because it had been 3 months that I was on the herbs and I figured a tiny break wouldn't hurt while I do the GY program. But like you said, I KNOW the growth right now is from GY because it's a different type of growth than we get with the other methods. You can tell the difference, which anyone who's on it will understand. But at some point I will do the herbs along with the GY program because I agree that it can compliment any program you're on and between the two things combined I don't see why one wouldn't have even bigger results. I think for anyone who's apprehensive about taking anything orally this would be a great program all on it's own to solve that problem. But I personally want to eventually combine methods. Here's to gigantic boobies for all of us! :-)

I'm on day 2 of GY now, and it seems to be a great massage technique. I always have had more growth when I was massaging, but have been lazy about it. GY forces you to do at least a half hour of massaging twice a day.

Anybody worried that they are not doing the massage just right? The program says you are supposed to try to get every point in the breast. I'm afraid I'm missing some!

Annie,
It sounds to me like you must be doing them right! I feel pretty much how you are describing with the fullness and lumps and soreness, so we're on the right track for sure. I think it's just fine to do GY along with your other program, it's just that I suppose it makes it difficult for the GY statistics to know how much growth GY was responsible for and how much growth your other stuff is responsible for if you do them together. I'm taking an herb break while I do this for now and later on I will add herbs back in most likely so that I can maximize my growth on top of how much GY gives me.

I use soy oil when I do my GY massages. I've tried with lotion and it soaks into my skin too fast, and I've tried without anything and it feels horrible on my skin. I started today!! I did one 40 minutes session in the morning and one 20 minutes in the afternoon just on one boob, then I was interupted and couldn't continue, so I will do the 20 minutes on the other boob in the evening. I hope this works. But it's really very similar to how I've been massaging so far, only longer and a bit more precise. Before I used mainly knuckles and I went arround faster, not concentrating on one point at the time.

Are any of you ladies using knuckles in this massage? I still use knuckles cause they give stronger physical stimulation, but less precise, so I use both knuckles and fingertips.

I'm so psyched that we're all doing well with this! Be careful not to push too hard fengshui, you want to give enough pressure to stimulate the lobes, but not so much that you injur yourself. I think I push a little harder on the upper portion of the breast that I want to fill out more too, not so much on purpose but because it's easier there and not as easy in the meatier lower portion. Hopefully it's good because my upper portion is filling in somewhat, even though not as much as my other larger portion. I'll take whatever I can get though! I'm starting week three now. Yay! :-)

I too am on day 3 and the tops of my breasts are filling in very nicely. Gained 2 inches there and saw my ex bf (we're still friends)last night and he was staring at my chest and finaly asked me why they looked so big weeeeeeeeeeeeeee !

It kills my arms but I am faithfull to my twice a day massages, first exercice 15 min on each breast, 5 mins on each for second and then 2 minutes for nipples. I am using palmers cocoa butter with vitE oil and a 1000mg EPO capsule for the massaging. I am going to do herbs as well as soon as I get them.

Jelica,
I am on stage 3. i am sorry, but i must not have seen your question earlier. I talked to Joseph about the nipple extraction, and that is basically your choice. You do not have to do it. I have been on the program for 28 days, have gained 2.5", and have not had any leaking yet. Hope that answers your question.

Corrie,
As far as the inches equaling cup sizes-- I have always heard that an inch is a cup size, but I think that depends on the person and their body frame. I am not a big person (I wear a size 8), but 1 inch does not equal 1 cup size with me. I think it depends on how your body carries that inch. I think if you have a very narrow chest, then 1" will equal 1 cup size. Does that make sense? I hope so. Happy growing!

Newbies,
I have received some emails lately asking me basic questions that are answered in this thread and some questions that are too confidential for me to be able to tell people that are not on this program. Please do not think that I am being rude, because I am not, and I love helping everyone out because I am so excited about my success, but I can not break my confidentiality agreement. Most of your questions have probably been answered here already, but if they are not, I would be more than happy to answer them, just please do not ask me questions that I am not allowed to answer. Thank you and happy growing!

Not looking forward to waking up half an hour early in the mornings to do massage - i have trouble getting up as it is!

Just wondering... i have not had kids but definitely want to in the future.
The one thing that scares me about any NBE process is that it might affect fertility. Do you guys think Grow Yours could possibly affect your chances of getting pregnant?

Beth-
Does that mean since stage one you haven't done the nipple massage part and still have gained 2.5 inches in growth? If this is true that you don't need to do that part than I would rather stop doing it.

It's my understanding that you don't have to do the nipple part. I'm not doing it at all. I do not want to de-sensitize my nipples as they say.

I am not doing the nipple part either. I am not sure if that is why I have not leaked, you would have to ask Joseph. I have gained 2.5" without doing them, but I think the main reason for it is so that your ducts dot get clogged. I could be wrong though, it would not be the first timeWink.

This program gives me back pains, the same kind that I get during my period, though weaker. Nothing that I couldn't handle, but if I'm not mistaking this means it's rising my prostaglandins levels... ô.o And I got mild pain and discofort in my right ovary too after the morning session.

I am doing the nipple part, but only for like 30 seconds on each nipple.
Any more than that is too irritating to me.

Also, is anyone cheating and doing both breasts at the same time during the regular massage parts? I admit that I have been doing this sometimes...It cuts the overall time in half, and if you are careful, I think you can still get a really good massage.

Good luck everyone!

I too have skipped the nipple part a few times, it really hard to do that part if you use a good cream/oil which I found is a key to boosting my size. My fingers just slip off the nipple so I just make sure they get kneeded in step 2 at the end.

Nipple massage
April 29 2007, 5:58 PM

Hi ladies,

I too was concerned about the nipple massage and did ask Joseph about it. I have not been pregant before so I wouldn't know what to expect with the whole lactation thing. He explained that the nipple exercise is important as it is a way to allow excessive moisture, if any a way out. It is not the nipple exercise that stimulate lactation but the other "massages". I hope that make sense?

Okay, I have not measured yet since I've lost weight and have been under a lot of stress in the past weeks because of my job. I have been on the program for a week and do notice that my small boob has caught up a bit. That's enough to make me excited - for now Smile

Are we supposed to log on GY page and do daily measurements everyday? and i wonder if its okay to massage too much? I massage whenever i can even over my clothes(over bra). I hope it won't take to long for progress cause i don't have kids.

Hi, All:

After emailed Joseph last Friday, I realized that I DIDN'T do right pressure of massage that's why I have slow growth, so everyone please remember to massage "agrresively".

And finally I moved to Stage 2, yahoo...

Fengshui:

You don't have to log on grwoyours to input measurement everyday however you should record them , then input them whenever you have time.

Longer isn't better, what you should do is deeper and well-massage each lobe. To those who's never pregnant be4, it may take a lil longer, I think.

Hi all,
Had a very odd experience I want to share & Moons message re back pain & ovary pain prompted it. After doing GY for 2 days I was slightly ill (nauseous to the point I commented to my hubby it felt like morning sickness....joking around with him as he has had a vasectomy)for a couple of days & had quite strong period like cramping....(since using Vitex I dont experience much cramping at all anymore) so I thought that was all a bit odd & stopped everything for a couple of days. I have started back up again today & now feel nauseous again & after reading Moons post have finally made the connection....when I was breastfeeding I often felt strong nausea & uterine cramping so how bizzare this process can effect me almost as stronly as actual pregnancy in such a short amount of time......I was quite sick throughout both my pregnancies so I wonder if I am just overly sensitive...any other mums experience anything like that?

Hi,

I'm on day three of the grow yours program. No growth yet, (I have never been pregnant) but I do feel sore. I'm also using vitex (1600mg a day), do you think it will interere with grow yours?

Thanks,

VITEX
April 30 2007, 10:34 AM

Hi Alexia

Vitex is supposed to normalise prolactin levels - prolactin rises in pregnancy to cause breast growth. If you have really low prolactin levels though, it might give you a kick start.
Also, it keeps progesterone levels higher than estrogen - which should prevent actual leakage (when progesterone drops postpartum, the milk starts to flow).

Despite all I've said - I don't know! But I want to, as I'm doing the exact same thing (vitex plus growyours). Been on vitex 1600mg for 4 months (1600mg) had no breast growth from it, and have acne now (maybe it's not for me). Been on growyours for just over a week, and have got definite fullness - and gained nearly half an inch.
Also, Henri has been on vitex for a while and she's had great results.
Sorry I can't give a straight answer - hopefully someone else may know.

Hi Spunkymum ~ I can't say that I have experienced any pregnancy like symptoms during the past 2 weeks on GY, which is a good thing for me. I was terribly sick with both pregnancies, and had a terrible time keeping anything down. The only thing I have that is even similar at this point, and that not being pregnancy, is how my breast feeling before I massage them and then throughout the day. They are very similar to when I was nursing, to the point that sometimes I have to go check them, because it really does feel like "let down".

To date, I have not produced anything lactation wise. There isn't even moisture coming out as Joseph said will happen to some women.

hi Alexia - I am still taking Vitex and have had a good amount of increase so far with GY. However I had dropped the amount of Vitex I was taking earlier this month before I started the program. I am currently only taking 400mg of it, and will only increase if my pms symptoms come back and then only enough to keep them away. I know some women have had growth on the Vitex, but I can't say I was really one of them. I also didn't start taking it for the breast growth, moreso for the pms, but the growth would have been a nice effect. I then increased my dosages to 1600mg a day, but after a month or so, just felt it was too high for me - can't really explain why, just did.
You also need to remember, that Joseph said that those who have never been pregnant take a little longer to see results, so don't expect anything for another week or so at least.

I don't want big boobs with big underarm fats, I will still continue the GY and see how it goes. LOL

Spunkymum - it sounds to me that you are just sensitive to all this. I guess it will make it more unpleasent, so there's a choice now on whether you still want to do it. But here's a thought - since you are not really pregnant now, you are allowed to take some herbs to alieviate these problems. I'm not sure which but with some research you could find sth useful. Parhaps vitex.

I don't have any back, uterine, ovary or boob pains after today's morning mssage. It's possible that yesterday I was simply ovulating percisely while doing the massaege. Oh well. I was hoping that it's a sign of it actually working.

Someone in this thread talked about doing both breasts at once. I've been doing the 1st exercise on one breast at a time, but the kneading exercise I do both at once. Works quite well and I think as long as your thorough that's what matters.

Hi, Moon:

There're different sizes of lobes while on program, right now I only feel mine like a sunflower seed which is really small, then continue to grow like apple seed then grape size.

I believe @ beginning what you feel maybe some breast tissue (or fat) not the lobes themselves which need time to develop...

Grow Yours
May 2 2007, 8:34 AM

Hi girls,
I signed up for the 'Grow Yours' programme yesterday after reading all the positive comments about it. I did an 'aggressive' massage yesterday and am feeling pretty sore and bruised today. Will probably lighted off for a few days until I get the hang of what is right for me. My boobs were initially fuller just after the massage but have gone back to normail. I know one hour a day seems a lot and there will be times we have to miss out - but it's worth it in the long run and I am keen to achieve the rsults many of you have had - in a short space of time! Still going to take me herbs as a supplement.
Re: nipple massage. I have pierced nipples so found this part a bit sore. Will probably only massage them for one minute each - something is better than nothing.
It didn't take me half an hour to massage the whole breast so I concentrated the extra time on areas where I want more fullness e.g the tops.
Good luck to you all!!

Sorry girls, thought we needed a new thread, way too many posts in the other one, got tired of scrolling down and starting from the bottom up!!!

My progress seems to be tapering off, can't get past the 1 inch mark right now. Think it might be because I am so busy with spring here and all this cleaning and yard maintanence, that I am only getting one good massage in a day, and kinda skimping on the other one. So I am going to start at them aggressively again, and hope that I can get them up another inch or more if I can. That would be nice. Noticed this week that my hair is looking healthier and my complexion is starting to clear up, which is reall cool. Wondering though if perhaps some of my problem could be the fact that my period is ending and I stopped all the herbs................

just a thought..... i didnt increase during pregnancy i remained an A cup throughout but after birth around day three i went up to a C. thats when the milk started to flow in....i have heard that if you dont breast feed some of the milk turns into fat therefore that is why some women retain their post pregnancy breast size. taking this hypothesis on board could it be that after u progress from grow yours we wont shrink back to our pre pregnancy size? on the other hand if my breasts didnt increase during pregnancy what would be my chances of bigger breasts with grow yours program? i am taking st herbs and with that i have lactated..as i did with wonder up as some of you might recall. i can only wish combining the two might speed things up a bit. what i am saying is my sister who has similar physique didnt breast feed and her breasts remained slightly larger after pregnancy and i did..so mine shrunk. last night i started the grow your massage program, today my breasts are slightly sore....

anyhow, good luck all and hope to make sense of all this as we go along together...... xx

Hi Moon,

I understand what you are saying exactly. I have been wondering the same thing as my boobies feel the same way. I had kind of chalked it up to connective tissue (the elongated parts anyway). I also feel small little lumps that I believe are actual lobes. I wonder though if the bigger ones may be too, but I am not certain. Have you asked Joesph? I never really gave it much thought before reading your question.

I have morning sickness throughout the day, fatigue, loss of appetite, my cycles are completely screwed up, lower back pain, headaches. It is really weird. I am on some herbs as well, but not for NBE. I do not know if it is connected or not, but since I think I have been on this program for the longest from this board (I think), I felt that everyone else deserved to know what I was experiencing. I guess we will find out if more girls start having the same symptoms.

Luvgurl,
I was a large A before and now I am a small C. I was talking about that to one of the other girls on the board. I do not think that 1 " = 1 cup size for every woman. I think it just depends on how your body is proportioned. I do love the way my boobs look now though and I am sure I can grow more because my lobes are not full sized yet.

Question about Grow Yours
May 3 2007, 5:24 AM

I am going to start Grow Yours here in a couple days. I was just wondering if anyone had any problems with stretch marks. Its amazing how much everyone is growing, but it's happening so fast. Also, do you have to go to the doctor to get check-ups more often (besides the yearly stuff)? Think they'll be able to tell that I'm inducing lactation? Thanks.

I'm also wondering about stretch marks?
And the ones who feel nauseous and have been pregnant, is it like it was when you were pregnant or less? For example, if you vomited during your pregnancy is is the same with grow yours or is it just nausea?

I too have nausea, with my first pregnancy it was bad with my second I had no morning sickness at all. This is somewhere in between, although I find it very ironic to have morning sickness 8 weeks after having a hysterectomy LOL !

Good way to read through old threads too as you pass time and forget about booby pain and know you are stimulating them while you read! Just hope no one sees me!!

Wow, this is only my 1st FULL day on GY (started last night Smile ) and seeing how many others are trying this is wonderfully encouraging.....thanks for all of your feedback!

Regarding the prego-like side effects, don't hate me but I HOPE I get them! One of those horrid people who was never sick and actually felt the best I ever did through all of my pregnancies. Could be from all the maessaging I was already doing, though not as aggressively as now, but I'm positive i already feel the lobes at the outside/bottom part of my breast, which is also where I have experienced the most swelling over the past few months doing the lymphatinc message. Now to focus that EVERYWHERE!

For those with nausea and the like, I wonder, if it continues for you (which has got to be miserable in spite of increased boobage) perhaps taking a prenatal vitamin would help some of the symptoms? Don't know if this would help at all, but just throwing it out there. It could make explanations tricky, however, if you're caught popping them!!!

katherine

PS. I'm continuing with my BO even though I've had no real growth over the last months on this routine. Maybe the stimulation will help it kick in? irregardless,If I follow in the footsteps of the majority of you reporting wonderful progress with GY, I most certainly know which program will get the credit!

what i would like to know is how long its taken for the women who have never been pregnant or breastfed to achieve results. Joseph says it'll take longer and some of the previously pregnant women seem to be having results within days. I've been on the programme for over a week now and still nothing (never been pregnant). Any other ladies out there like me who know how long it'll take?

I am about 1 week into the program now, and I just noticed this morning that I have grown 1 inch, but only on the tops. That's actually great, because the tops are where I actually need the fullness the most. Also, my boyfriend FINALLY noticed (after 6 months of NBE!) that my boobs are bigger. So GY must be working! Yay!

The only bad side effect I have right now is a lot of acne. Anyone else getting zits?

Good luck everyone!

Never been pregnant
May 3 2007, 9:19 PM

Hi Charlene,

I've been wondering the same thing...

I asked Joseph what to expect - he said that the greatest increase he heard of in 2 months is 1.5 inches.. and he doesn't have any further details after that time, since people stop logging the results after this time.

However, theoretically, as full lactation is possible in women who have never breast fed, surely a non pregnant women should be able to reach the equivalent size to those who have breast fed?
Anyone want to chip in? - that was just a guess.

Also, I've been on grow yours sine 19th april - and have gain half an inch. (never been pregnant)

Joseph replied to my mail said the most growth from his programme was 3" for a singapore lady, but i already grew about 2" from my previous NBE, I wonder how much more I can expect from GY, but my 2" growth is not lobes, cause I have been on GY since Apr. 27th, I am still not sure if I feel any lobes yet. It would be soooooo great if I can get 3" growth from GY in a short time.

Hey Betty, I'm here. Things are about the same for me, I am up to 1 1/4 inches so far. Am sorta discouraged as my growth seems to have tapered off while everyone else is doing great, this could be do to some emotional issues right now, I am so terribly weepy it isn't funny.......pregnancy symptom? or depression? could be both. Have started massaging more vigorously again and am hoping to make some increase.

Day 7 for me, no measurable increase in breast size, tho I thoguht I was seeing sth at times, but I started to feel more expressed lobes some days ago and more boob pains too. Never been pregnant.

Girls, do you think it's ok to do 40 minutes on one boob in the morning and 40 on the other one in the evening instead of 20 on each in both sessions??

Moon - the answer is yes. You can do that - its actually an option you have when you hit Week 2. Can't give more info then that, but its the same process just one side in the morning the other side in the evening. I haven't done it yet, but am seriously thinking about it.

Hang in there, and keep at it, remember most of the women that are reporting growth have had children, some more recently then others, and the actual site says its 30 days and between 1-3 inches I think. I had to re-read it because as I mentioned, I don't seem to be gaining anymore, and figured I at least fall between 1-3 inches in 30 days.

Thats great that you are feeling a difference, remember like herbs, this takes time too.

Hi, girls, I have a silly question, I don't have any kids so I have no idea, I hope it's not too dumb to ask this.....
My question is---do you get your periods while you are breastfeeding? I am on GY since Apr. 27th, and my period has been a week late (don't know if it has anything to do with GY), and I have tiny drops of cloudy liquid coming out of my nipples, a bit worried here. :-(

Thanks for encouragment Henri. I personally feel that 20 minutes on one breast isn't enoguh, I feel that the boob is optimally stimulated only when I hve been doing it for a while, so 40 minutes is perfect for me. The two times 40 minutes a day really isn't that hard for me afterall, I just lay down and take it as time to relax.

Fengshui, lol I'm not sure either, but I think that it takes a while after birth for the period to come back, so for a time while lactating you don't have it, if I'm not mistaking, but not sure, hehe.

However i begun about a week and a half ago....entered my current measurements into their website today and apparently iv grown half an inch. i can see a slight increase in fullness and heavyness...if that accounts for the half inch increase then yaay!

So good luck to everyone else on the program....fingers crossed hey!

Same here, I haven't been pregnant and am on day 4. I felt from the very beginning sth that I thoguht were lobes, but I dunno if they could be cause some of them are quite big already, like pea or small grape sized, while others are small, so I think they might be connective tissue clusters. Anyone else experiences similar?
Aside from that, I get mild back, unetrine and ovary pains, like those during period, from the program, but nothing else so far.

Add me to the list. I started GYs program 4 days ago and I've never been pregnant. I'm not sure if I look fuller or not, so for now I'll say no growth no fullness. As for lobes, um... from the begining I've felt these sunflower seed like things in my boobs. Makes my boobs feel grainy. Wow, that kinda sounds weird. But they've always been there so I think it's just fat or connective tissue.

I'm not sure if I'm massaging hard enough. I try to give a lot of pressure, but I'm fairly skinny and I hit my ribs on all sides so it hurts. Sad if my boobs don't grow, at least i'm getting a good rib massage.

Kitty LOL! Big Grin I use my knuckles sometimes cause it's easier to deliver more force. Though Joseph said not to, cause you can't feel the lobes with knuckles, I presonally still use them and fingetips too of course, I make sure I cover the entire boob with fingertips and do some knuckles in between too. I think it may be important to go one point at a time instead of going arround and arround too fast. And when I use knuckles I try to use just one or two.

Alexia1981 - I think they're probably not lobes, but clusters of connective tissue, and feeling them against a rib could actually why they feel bigger than they are and elongated. I'm thinking it may be distinctive of pre-pregnancy breast...

No growth yet but I'm feeling more and more lobes especially after week 1. I can feel some lobes are growing too - although very slowly. I don't feel any soreness either, I even tried it lying down so I can put more pressure. Alternate between 90 degree angle pressure and 45 degree - if that make sense? lol

Plus, I just finished my period and lost weight so I can understand why I have not have any growth yet.

GROW YOURS- HOW IT WORKS
May 4 2007 at 11:57 AM Sun_rise (Login Sun_rise)
Hi girls, (sorry this is a bit long, but this site is for discussion, ideas, and information! We are gunea pigs so we need to do our own research!)

I've been a member of this site for almost a year under a different username. I'm sure that this post won't directly cause trouble with Joseph, i'm not going to reveal his NBE method or anything. I'm just going to explain what I figured out and what it is or may be doing to our bodies. Feel free to support, comment on, or argue any of my points and hopefully this thread will fill up with only the facts.

Grow Yours says that the method "stimualtes the lobes to develop and grow, producing just enough milk to help the breasts grow large" (How our process works).

I have done two days of the programme. I was hoping that I would not have to do the nipple exercises, as I don't particularly want them to open up. But then I realised that the nipples HAVE to open up for the process to work.

While "stimulate" is the right word to use about what you do to the lobes, the other way to describe it, is squeezing the ****e out of them, forcing the small amount of liquid that is in them, out. So liquid HAS to be released. The brain then reacts by filling them up again, making the breast a little bigger. Then you release more liquid, and the same happens over and over. The liquid will eventually become milk (i don't know after how long).

So in squeezing the lobes, of course it is going to hurt. You are forcing the liquid out of them, each day, forcing the liquid to go out of them and through the duct that leads to the nipple. If you haven't had kids before, your nipples are sealed. So you have to work on opening them. The sooner you open them, the sooner you can get bigger breast using the GY method.

Ok, so your going to produce milk, even if you've never had kids. Does this bother you?
Imagine getting a boyfriend if a few months and he realises that you produce and release milk. He'll be asking if you have a child! Before he knows, he may be touching or squeezing your breasts, or kiss your nipples, or suck your nipples(for arousal purposes) and he gets a mouthful of breast milk, haha! Oh imagine the possible scenarios! Could be hilarious, could be embarassing.

Breasts leaking.... those of you who are mothers might be able to provide some facts on this. If it happened in public...

And finally the maintenance... well, your just going to have to release milk. REGULARLY. I don't know how much or how little, just that it has to be regularly. Mothers out there, could you let us know how often a mother has to breast feed else her breast will stop producing milk?

If you hadn't breast fed in a week did they stop? a month?

The answer to this will give you the answer to how regularly you have to release milk to keep your breast producing milk.

You have to keep doing this REGULARLY, FOR YEARS!

And if you stop. Well don't women usually say that there breast go even smaller than before, after they stop breast feeding?

We are already coming across side effects such as ACNE and MORNING SICKNESS. Your BRAIN THINKS YOU ARE PREGNANT!

QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERING:
Do some research into how hormones change in pregnant women, how it effects your body, how it effects your mood.
Food cravings?
Post natal depression, is this a possibility?
Breat milk takes nutrients from your body, to nourish the newborn. Are you depriving your body of nutrients? If you are not gettingn enough calcium, it will be taken from your bones (causing osteoporosis - brittle bones, later in life)

GROW YOURS says that people may say you are glowing( i'm pretty sure i read that somewhere on d site). Ok thats a positive point, but is it because you've put on a bit of weight and your face is looking a little fuller or something? Or do you just generally look healthier? (Apart from the acne some of us are getting)

SOME QUOTES:
Jennifer: I too have nausea, with my first pregnancy it was bad with my second I had no morning sickness at all. This is somewhere in between, although I find it very ironic to have morning sickness 8 weeks after having a hysterectomy LOL !

cutevelvet: i didnt increase during pregnancy i remained an A cup throughout but after birth around day three i went up to a C. thats when the milk started to flow in.

Anonymous: it's a bit painful to touch so haven't been massaging agressively as i should.

Jennifer: I also noticed that I have morning sickness which is very odd as I have had a hysterectomy.

I don't believe you need to release milk as you describe it. As Lisa mentioned in the lactation thread the goal is to bring your breasts to the stage they were during pregnancy where they enlarged in preparation for lactating, but didn't necessarily lactate. I'm not planning to lactate at all. My mother grew during her pregnancy, and she didn't lactate (she didn't breast feed) and kept a whole cup size afterwards. Maybe I'm naive but I hope to keep a bit of permanent growth to without having to lactate

I have not started this program, but do regularly massage a few times a week just for breast health and not as deeply or intensely as this program requires. I guess my guestion is, after nursing 3 children, all pregnacies being different, how do you be intimate with someone when there is a chance of fluid leaking, or to put it another way, your body says to itself "oh the baby wants fed". As soon as any sucking sesation starts the breasts let milk DOWN so to speak. And if fluid is not being changed, new fluid coming in and old fluid leaving, as with brastfeeding, does the fluid carry too many toxins from our systems to be safe? It is a fact that women that have breastfed have a lower risk of breast cancer than those that have not, because the breast was emptied. Also it is very common to leak 6 weeks before dilvery, while others not till after birth. Do these questions make sence? I guess anyone that has been pregnant and nursed will understand what I mean.

Alexia

"After the lobes have developed there will be a maintenance program to minimise the exercises that maintain the increases you have achieved with minimal lactation" (how our process works video)

So according to GY, you will have to have "minimal lactation". You will have to lactate to maintain increases.

Perhaps Beth is discovering a new path where we can follow the program and not lactate. This will be great if it works for more people! Only time will tell.

Re: GROW YOURS- HOW IT WORKS

For questions in top post, for breast feeding a baby, IF THE MOTHER HAS NO TROUBLE NURSING< the breast will make what ever the baby is taking, meaning if baby is taking 3 ounces from each breast at a feeding of 4 hours apart, the breasts will make 3 ounces each for the neaxt feeding. When trying to wean baby, you would start by stopping a feeding , do that for a week and then stop another feeding. Until your down to one feeding aday and then gradually stop that. The idea behind this is so there is not milk left in the breast to cause infection and to leave milk glands clean. The body does not make anymore milk when you decrease feedings. it is called drying up and is the process used to stop milk production. Anyone nursing and giving about 8 feeding a day and then just stops cold turkey can expect problems. Infections, soreness, fever.

Not stepping on toes just would like to make a comment. I stopped nursing my youngest "cold turkey" from about 6feedings a day. He got very sick and hospitalized and he had to be nourished through an IV as everything else came right back up, this lasted for almost a week and a half. I did not experience any of the symptoms of an infection, and I do know what they are as I have had numerous ones while nursing, so I just wanted to say that those symptoms are not "Always", but "Possibilities" depending on your body - as with everything else here.

I understand what you are saying about the lactation part while being...intimate....because its a concern I have. If I ever get to the point that I am producing even the slightest bit of fluid, clear or otherwise as your colosterum (sp) comes in first, then I will be stopping the program.

Personally, my overall goal is to use this as a massage only - I still don't make 30mins, which might be part of my problem, but in addition continue up with the herbs, especially since I seem to have hit a small road block, which could be numerous things.

Sunrise - I think you have very valid points, and have addressed concerns that we have all mentioned and even thought, maybe just not at one time. However I would like to say that these are all chances we take with the whole NBE process. Many people have had adverse reactions to BO, PM, Herbs, but that hasn't stopped anyone from still using them. Everyone should read through the forum, because alot of this is covered, especially in some of the earlier posts, and then as is always suggested to newcomers, decided for yourself what you are willing and not willing to do.

I too have concerns, and will be watcing out for them, and if any appear then I am done with intensity of the program, and will just use it as my 5-10 min daily massage and if the concerns still are present then I will be stopping altogether.

Another thought - Have you asked Joseph these questions and gotten his feedback - whatever it may be? Or see if he answered them over on the BeBoard: maybe his original post and then the most recent, because I know he answered some questions over there.

Hi Sun-rise and Snowflake (or anyone else),

What about Tiger Lily's method? She also grow by massaging vigourously (together with eating boobiefood) and she also targeted the "lumps" as she described them as growth blokades. She didn't lactate and grew very well. Don't mean to argue, I'm just very interested in your opinions (I desperately want boobs and I' doing grow yours but don't want to lactate!)

OK this may sound odd my I've talked to my husband about this and he says there are plenty of men that actually find lactation a turn on. So it may not be a big of a worry as you think Yes I think its odd but what the hay, he's happy with thier size already and I never in over 8 years stopped producing colostrum after my pregnancy so this won't be much different for me.

I think I also read some where on the site that there is an option of continuing the program after 90 days with more aggressive massages to full on lactate, in the cases of addoptive mothers who want to breastfeed or "women who want to lactate for sexual pleasure(something like that anyway can't remember the actual words) soooo I don't think by doing the maintenace you will actually lactate or have any leaking...you really really have to have breasts that are VERY full for them to just leak on thier own.

These are just questions I personally have. I did have trouble after stopped nursing first one. Ended up surgically removing the milk gland. It was fine, nothing to worry about, but could have had potenial for serious problem later on in life. And everyone is different. I do know that when nursing, you are never allow your breast area to become cold, like from a winter wind, must keep area warm or you can become very, very sore and swollen, again this is from experience, having had cold in breast when nursing. These are just my worries with this program, but I guess we must remember our hormone levels could never be what they would be after being pregnant. It would just be impossible, so maybe that has something to do with the success fo this program.

Jennifer, So true! When I told my hubby what I was doing and the lactation possiblity (we have 3 children) His response? YAYYYY!!!!(while smacking his lips!) I, however, plan on trying to avoid this! Bit of moisture during message: Fine and dandy. Full on lactation: would cut back considerably to cut that out!

I don't know about the fullness and leaking theory, I do know as soon as my baby started crying I would leak. And that was with every child until they were about 6 weeks old. So everyone is different.

My questions only come from my own experiences I had when I did nurse. Seriously thinking about doing this program later on when I would have more time and also wanting to know how other women get along with this after a month or so. So really just very curious and would like to hear others reactions. Trying to figure out if this would be good for me, of course the big boob part would be great wouldn't it? And like I said before hormone levels couldn't possibly be the same as going through pregnancy and feel that has alot to do with it too.

This is an article about Breast Massage for Breast Enhancement.

I think quite alot of us have already been using massage. But has anyone massaged regularly before GY, twice a day, every day? and achieved growth?

I've pretty much massaged everyday, twice daily (if not more), for over the last year and only gained fullness, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I've gained more in the last week and a half (over an inch)doing GY than I ever did in the past year. Also, I gained weight with herbs. I will not go that route again.

GY-How it Works
May 4 2007, 3:50 PM

I just wanted to say that I started yesterday and 5 minutes after the massage my breast felt just like they did when I was nursing. Tingling sensation that you get right before the MER (Milk Ejection Reflex) or "let down", but w/o the actual let down. Now mind you I just had my 3rd and last child 10 months ago and nursed for 3 weeks. I had to stop nursing due to high blood pressure and the meds I had to take.So I was way bummed by having to stop, after all I nursed my 2nd until she was 2 and the very next week I got pregnant with #3. Anyway, I may be the only one here that doesn't mind re-lactacting, I may even at some point pump again. My opinion, if you are uncomfortable about the "lactaction" part of the process then don't do it, if you are ok with the "possibilities" then knock yourself out. There has to be a level of comfort somewhere. This process is supposed to relieve some of the worries of NBE, pill taking, routines, etc., it shouldn't be stressing you ladies out. And we all know stress is the worse thing you can do to yourself for many reasons other then NBE. Please don't misjudge me, I am not trying to be nasty or offend anyone, just adding my 2 cents.

I will only say, interesting topic. It's good that we who are doing GY discuss all the potential positives and negatives of our NBE method. I would stop doing the regular agressive GY if I started lactating, wouldn't mind a few drops tho. But from what I know, the first stage of 'lactation' is only preparation, when lobes increse in size, but don't produce much or any liquid yet, which is the stage we are trying to reach.

I just wanted to respond on the part about having to release milk and do the nipple massages. I have not done the nipple massages at ALL and I have been on the program for 1 month. I have gained 2.5". (Warning, possibly TMI lol) My hubby and I have a very active sex life, and I have never leaked then either. I do have pregnancy symptoms, but not acne. Actually, my skin looks better now than it has in years! I understand that we have to do this every few days for the rest of our lives. The program tells you this before you start, so that is not a suprise to me. I decided before I started the program that I am okay with that. Just wanted to add my opion.

Hi, Beth

Learned that you have great results, congratulations! I posted another message here on this board and got a reply from Moon (thanks to that, Moon) but since you have so great results, I would like your advice as well.
I started the program one week ago but it seems no significant increase. I wonder if I do it correctly. I am at my forties and have one kid but never breastfed. I massage twice a day, each around 40 minutes but I skipped the nipple exercises, as I don't want any lactation. My fingers & my arms are already so sore after massaging for a while, so I have to use alternate hands to do it. I only do the massage without taking any herbs at this stage 'cos I am scared of any unknown or undiscovered side effects but I started the chicken feet soup two days ago. Do you think I will see any increase soon. I know everyone is different but when I learn that you have so great results so soon, I just couldn't resist the temptation to try it. Please give me some advice. Thanks.

I have a question
May 9 2007, 7:43 AM

I have a question to all of those who have been on the grow yours program. My question is have you grown to the size you were when u were engorged (after your milk came in) after having your baby? I remember blowing up after each of my children and looking in the mirror with my eyes bulging out at my "new chest". Is it anything like that? Or is it just a little added fullness? I was a B before having kids and then when my milk came in I must have been a D... Is this possible with grow yours? Also, I'm a little leary about starting it because breastfeeding is what got me in this whole BE process to begin with (saggy, flat, no tops, smaller than my prepregnancy size)........and then to try and fill them back up with milk again.....hmmmmmmm.

No time to log in, but just wanted to say that some ladies are completely confused about the "things" that take place when you are actually FULLY lactating and the things that take place when you're on GY. They are two totally different scenarios. Stop being afraid of leaking and things like that, I don't believe any of us have experienced anything like that at all. And if so, it's not happening for 99% of us.

How realistic is it to grow permanent bigger breasts by filling them with milk in order to breastfeed?I mean I understand that they will grow like when you are pregnant but after that 1)you must either do the program for the rest of your life to keep them or 2) your breasts will go back to normal or even flatter and more saggy just like after pregnancy.

Well, I can try answering your question, although you may get the same answer over there. I am on week 3 and have gained almost 2" so far. You do have to continue the massages to keep your resluts, however how often you have to massage is farther apart (2 or 3 times a week). From what I understand, this does not cause your breasts to sag, what causes them to sag is the actual breastfeeding. I have 3 kids, and fortunatley, my boobs are not saggy but they are not as firm as they were before I breastfed my younger 2 children. However, I did not breastfeed my older son and my boobs looked completely normal after my milk dried up naturally. Does that make sense? I am not sure if I explained it very well. I am a bit sleep deprived right now.Smile

Re: to SugarQ and everyone;about grow yours program
April 26 2007, 5:13 AM

Sorry for not logging in, I'm in a hurry. There seems to be so much confusion over this. You all have to realize that NBE is hit or miss depending on the person, some grow and some don't, some retain growth and some don't, some have to do some form of maintenance to keep the growth and some don't. So we just don't know all the answers. Again, this program does not actually make you "lactate" as in breast feeding or expressing milk from your breasts. It puts the breasts into a particular state which allows them to get larger. Once size is optimal for the person, the maintenance depends on the person as well. For some maintenance could be once a day, for some it could be a few times a week. It varies. As for me, I will gladly do the maintenance for as long as I want to keep my bigger boobies (forever) if that is what it takes. If at some point it isn't for me, then I will stop. I don't believe it would make my boobs shrink down to smaller than they were, as I've had five children and breast fed four of them and that NEVER happened to me. For someone else, who knows. I'm so glad I've done this though, because it's added to the inch and a half gain I had with herbs in three months. Now I've gained a grand total of 2 and 3/4 inches. How in the world could I not be thrilled with that! :-)

Go to the grow yours web site and read everything you can, click on the different tabs, all is explained in detail there. Those of us on the program are not supposed to divulge too many details, as obviously they want you to gather your own information from reading about their process on their site and then decide whether you want to give it a try or not. For all of us on it, we are growing and I don't believe any of us are leaking. It's your choice whether or not you want to carry the program to full-on lactating, which I believe none of us want to do. And with the results we're all experiencing in such a short amount of time, I don't believe any of us anticipate minding having to continue on with maintanance to keep our bigger breasts.

If you are going to faithfully stick to the program, then yes its worth the money. Partly because you will grow at a faster rate if you have had kids, and if not then you should still grow but maybe not as fast.

Break down the cost by month: $149 /6 months = comes out to around $25 a month.

If you are not willing to put all the massage time and effort into it then no its not a method for you. The other cool part about it, is once you know what you are doing, should you ever stop and lose it, you can just start again and know what to do. I am only on the first phase of massage, so I can't say how easy/hard the other level get, and then the maintenance level, but thats my thoughts.

I just signed up for the process. Although I'm not sure if I want to actually do it for these reasons:

1. The results are NOT permenant. You have to massage for as long as you want bigger breasts, which could get annoying after awhile.

2. Depending on how much you "grew" if you stop your breasts will go back to their original size, but can also become saggy! Which I def do not want small saggy boobs if I stop.

I asked these questions and those are the responses I got from Joseph.

I am staying on the same program of herbs that I was on before...However, even before starting GY, I had already cut way back on the herbs I was taking, for a few reasons.

So, now I am taking only fenugreek, saw palmetto, and vitex, plus fish oil...I take a fairly high dose of vitex, and medium doses of the other two. I am definitely feeling way more fullness now, and I really think its the massages and NOT the herbs doing it. It seems like maybe massage is way more important than I realized. Still, I think that having the herbs in your system helps you to grow and is just good for NBE in general. I wouldn't stop taking them now.

Good luck everyone!

Re: GROW YOURS with other herbs, ie. vitex

Hi Dandelion,

I'm on day four now and I'm also taking 1600 µg vitex. However, I'm still doubting about staying on vitex, because I asked Joseph and he advised against it.

Here's his answer (I hope he doesn't mind that I'm posting this): I don't know how, or if Vitex interferes with the Grow Yours Process. If it is something that your doctor prerscribed to you, for a condition you may have, you should probably continue using it and ask your doctor about it, because he/she knows you best and can give you the best opinion. If it is something that you are taking for Breast Enhancement, my recommendation is that you should try one process or the other. If you try both processes at the same time, you don't know which one is working for you. You also are not able to notice if any benefits or side effects come from which process, in case there are positive or negative reaction. Also if one process is working for you, why spend the extra time and money to keep up a process which is not working or providing any additional benefits to you?

I'm 26 and also never been pregnant! No growth yet but I'm only on day 4. I do feel tiny little lobes, so I hope growth follows soon!
What are you going to do about your vitex? I'm doubting because grow yours is tested (and worked) on women who didn't take anything for NBE, so maybe it's best to give it a try on itself? And what about bcp?

Good luck to you!

Alexia

Isn't it obvious?
May 1 2007, 9:38 AM

Well isn't it obvious that if Vitex is supposed to normalise prolactin levels, the Grow Yours program won't be able to get the prolactin levels high enough for the NBE to work? The Grow Yours program is about increasing the prolactin, not balancing it.

Why do one thing and then take something that will work the opposite way? Doesn't make one bit of sense to me.

It is straight forward if you look at it that way. But maybe people want to keep their progesterone and estrogen ratio correct - and hopefully the massage will produce prolactin in a quantity that overrides the effect of vitex on prolactin.

Has anyone tried inducing lactation as a form of enlargement?

Probably a weird question, but is anyone familiar with this? There is a lot of information about inducing lactation online if you do a search. It can be done and some ladies do it to nurse adopted children and some ladies do it for personal reasons. I just wondered if anyone has had any experience with it?

Not sure if this would be a good idea somehow.

I reckon one would have to express milk from themselves several times a day otherwise you would engorge which would possibly lead to cysts, mastitist etc.

Have you ever breast fed or been pregnant?

I've had 2 kids but not breast fed. Still, the milk comes in naturally on the 2nd day (if I remember) and it is certainly not pleasant. The pains....the swelling and agony in your armpits, ugh are awful. Your nipples leak, bra gets wet and smells as does your clothes. And all the time you have these constant waves of 'ugh' as the milk continues to flow in. I had to be bound like a mummy in a bandage to try make it stop.

Certainly not something I would want to induce and asides from that, the breast size gained whilst doing it would stop as soon as you came off the hormones so it wouldn't be a permanent thing.

Ooops, don't let this put anyone off breastfeeding. If the milk has somewhere to go to, then you don't get the same discomfort.

Has anyone tried it? Am curious now :-)

Love

...i did it...and regret it profoundly!!! am still suffering from the aftermath...i endured mastitis and breast thrush... it was very frightening and embarrassing for me to get help-having to explain the situation to the doctors who were just as freaked out and puzzled as myself...furthermore, my boobs are now saggy and my nipples have somehow shrunk... even though i only did it(suctioning on nipples) once a day or so for a week.... it was the most awful experience i have ever had in my life. my breasts no longer respond in a sexual way anymore... i am struggling with that as well.... can no longer orgasm... it is hellish.

i've been waiting for a chance to discuss this- to warn people -and well- my opportunity has arrived!!!

Wow! That's horific, I'm sorry to hear of your negative experience. I have breastfed my children quite a few years back, so I'm familiar with what goes on and how much work it can be and how you have to deal with the things you mentioned like engorgement and leakind and all. But I think when you induce lactation outside of to breastfeed a baby it's a little different. Or so I thought from what I've found online about it. You will have to pump if you don't have a partner who's "helping" you with that part of it, not to get too graphic! But it seems as though you can get it down to only having to be done once or twice a day if you want to. Women do it for personal reasons like just enjoying lactating in itself or in an adult nursing relationship, so I was curious if anyone here had experience with it. Well, it seems someone's had a bad experience, I wonder if anyone has had a good experience?

Doesn't lactation cause shrinkage when you finish lactating, since some of the fat is replaced or something?

Jennie - just wondered when you say your nipples have shrunk - do you mean the areola part - did they go hyper erectile (sort of wrinkly) change colour.
Just curious hope to hear from you all.

Re: Has anyone tried inducing lactation as a form of enlargement?
February 28 2007, 1:58 AM

Yes, I agree that doing it for enlargement alone would be a bit much. Maybe doing it for other reasons and getting enlargement as a bonus would be a different story. The research I've done says that once the milk does come in it's pretty much a supply and demand situation, just like when you're feeding a baby. And it leads me to believe there's a much smaller amount produced, so I don't think you would have some of the issues as you'd have with baby nursing. And perhaps once or twice a day of expressing the milk would be enough. Weird, but interesting.

Adult nursing? IMHO Seems to me that would require some serious therapy because it doesn't even sound normal. When I was nursing, my husband wanted no parts of my breasts when my milk would come in, he said it was just unsexy. He didn't mind a little bit if they were uh.......stimulated at certain times, but if they were to actually let down at those times he found it a turnoff.

My suggestion is don't do it. Lactating while nursing is one thing, but not for breast enlargement.

Now the thread began quite intersting, i was intreged, but good god the last thread link, is just wierd.
Each to their own i supose but the fact you have to breast feed the man every day to stop being engorged is just terrible, what if neither person wanted to, and ggese why the hell would you want to in the 1st place????

The only reason i can think i would concider this method is if you had adopted a new born baby, where i think its a rather selfless act, you do it purly for the health of the child, and i supose to "bond" with it.

Jenny-i don't know your reasons 4 doing what you did, but im sorry you had such a bad expereince,it sounds dreadful,i hope things do get betterSmile

Many people would think the same of NBE though, as in wondering why we would endure the pills and the changes to our diet and the massages and creams and everything. Like you said, it's to each his own I suppose. But there is a lot of information on the web about it that does promote what a bonding experience it can be for a couple. Or what a wonderful experience it can be for a woman who just wishes to lactate without it having to do with a partner.

re.areola shrinkage

regarding the question about my remark about my nipples shrinking...so sorry, what i meant was, yes, the areola! at first both areola and nipple BLANCHED overnite- i was freaking out with disappointment and grief- you'd better believe me! fortunately, the colour has returned somewhat, but the areola part IS decidedly smaller and paler than before... this is pretty sad for me(it was already pretty small) so i try not to look at them much anymore. it's just too depressing. at any rate, they are not as nice as they were before... anonymous- do you know why this happened? if you know anything about it, please tell!
the whole reason i got into this mess was because i read somewhere about enlarging your nipples by suctioning them a bit- well- i went overboard i guess and this is what happened....
sigh... i hope too it will somehow improve...it's already been over half a year...
i am currently taking a tincture of saw palmetto three times a day.(that's all i'm taking) it seems to be working... i am experiencing pains and they seem larger and firmer somehow. but will i have to do this forever??? help- it's pretty expensive- i bought a little bottle of tincture and it only lasted a week or so... sigh...
any advice???

Jennie, I'm so sorry to hear this! I'm not sure how or why it happened. With what I've read you can induce lactation by nipple stimulation but it is something that is done on a schedule of maybe 15 minutes on each side a minimum of 3 times per day, and the more often you can do this like up to 8 times per day, the faster the results would be. The milk is supposed to come in slowly, a few drops at first and then increasing based on the schedule of how often and for how long you want to do it. For a couple doing this for example they can get to once or twice a day if that's the minimum they want to do or the woman can use the pump as well. If you're nursing an adopted baby for example of course with milk being made on a demand basis, there would be much more milk with having to feed a baby every few hours. So in your case, I don't know what went wrong. The nipples should have enlarged a bit and the breasts should have eventually enlarged a bit as milk came in if it got to that point. Maybe you just over-did it like you said and had a bad reaction? As hard as it might be, I would probably have a doctor take a look and make sure all is alright if you still haven't gotten back to normal yet and it's been 6 months. The sp tincture is probably a good thing, but individual herbs might be more affordable.

Definitely not worth it. Not even as a last resort.
