I talked about it using it earlier in this thread. Doll did too.

I use it in the place of chamomille, and alpha arbutin.

It is supposed to be better than alpha arbutin (they say) when it comes to shutting down melanin production.
@amber
Hey amber, do you find that tumeric stains your eye whites at all?
No, it doesn't seem to stain the schlera. Mine look as white as ever.

I've been using it over 2 months now. So far so good.
Thanks Amber! Shows how much I read and recall!! It's a killer for staining when used facially I find.
Here's the starting of my journey from last year
Method: For about the first two weeks I did the Chamomile and turmeric contact lenses(what Januari posted in the Getting started/Faqs page)
Day 4: 02/13/2012 I start to do the chamomile and clover honey eye drops when my contacts weren't in.
Around feb 22, I bought Manuka honey and mixed it with the clover honey i already had.

I started taking pics of my eye with my phone camera on feb 19,2012.

My eye in sunlight and flash looks so insane I love it Big Grin[/quote]

METHOD: about every other day I would wear the chamomile/turmeric soaked contact lenses. Used chamomile/honey eye drops when I wasn't wearing contacts.
Then I got MSM and licorice.I had to switch up my method because the honey was really pissing off my eyes. that even though I took a couple days off I still had redness.
So I made eye drops, Chamomile AND licorice tea bags in distilled water and added honey to this bottle. In another bottle I actually used the left over liorice tea and put the msm and like a couple drops of lemon.
this really made my eyes feel refreshed and I don't get super red eyes. My eyes are a little red but that's from allergies.

I also started orally taking msm xD

I think you should see an iridologist. You may have some serious health issues to address. I think they would even tell you your irises are not a true brown. I am guessing you have a variation of mixed brown and blue. You have those weird lines! I actually have them too but not nearly as prominent. Its like iris lightening sparked your inner truth seeking! You know deep down inside something has gone on with your eyes. I think that is a lot of us here!
^ well thank you for your concern, but I have seen an eye doctor every other month for my eyes to see if I'm damaging them or not (always great nothing wrong) and I've already had my blood check for everything.

Also almost everyone has gotten those lines when they try to lighten their eyes.
